Marjane Satrapi, French-Iranian author of 'Persepolis', dies aged 56

Marjane Satrapi became known worldwide for her critically acclaimed autobiographical graphic novel “Persepolis” - which she later directed as an animated feature. It premiered at Cannes in 2007 and was Oscar nominated.
