One of many people who falsely claimed to have survived the sinking of the Titanic. Mr William Hall, was never on board. Literally, hundreds of stories exist of fake Titanic survivors and even fake victims. In most instances, the names were entirely unconnected to the Titanic story, but in some cases the story has some basis in fact, as in the cases of child victim Loraine Allison, saved by Thomas Andrews according to a Mrs Kramer, and Virginia Ethel Martin a child survivor, who Vera Hansen was convinced was her former identity.
