2023 WETHEPEOPLE COMPLETE BMX BIKES (All 15 BMX Bikes *INSIDE LOOK*)

All right, what's up guys? So today I'm going to be looking at We the People's 2022 bikes

To be fair, these bikes are not out. They're not actually available yet, but I got my hands on a PDF

that has every single 2022 bike outlined. Oh my God, it's pretty exciting. Like if you guys have

been waiting on these 22 bikes, you're going to be super excited. If you guys waited for a little bit

and then you said, you know what, I don't want to wait any longer and you bought a bike, you're going to

be disappointed. So stay tuned to the end because this last bike is

completely crazy. There's a couple of new bikes and there's a lot of new colors added on here

into this 2022 line. I'm excited. Let's get right into it. So I've got to start this video off by

saying two things. First of all, I'm going to say an unofficial apology to we the people

2020 line, I want to say, 2020 line. I was pretty harsh on them. And to be fair, I don't change my

stance. I do think they're a little bit overpriced. But the attention to detail that they put into

these bikes and the pictures, the amount of information they give about the bikes, like

they really do a lot. They put a lot into the quality and things like that. Again, still think

some of them are overpriced, but I rest my case. I was pretty harsh on them in 2020, and I

apologize. We have the people, if you saw one of my reviews, if you ever see this, I apologize

But still expensive. Anyway, the second thing I want to say is these are not the full in-depth

reviews. Spec wise, quality wise, score wise, not very many things are going to change from

2021 to 2022. When they're actually fully out, I will go through and do reviews on them just for

people who are looking for them and to catch any slight changes that might happen with the quality

But for the sake of this video, we're just going to skim through it. We're going to look at the bikes. We're going to talk about it. And that's really it. We're not going to get super in-depth on

it because that's for other videos. Anyway, I'm going to pop it up on my screen here. There we go

Look at this. Hold on. Where should I be? Oh, hey, that's kind of cool. I like that. I like that. How's that? All right. You can see me. You can hear me. Let's let's go. Let's go. All right. Cover of the thing. We the people. Bicycle Co. 2022 preview complete bikes. We're going to skim through these smaller bikes. Like I said, you guys, I don't talk a lot about the smaller bike. Oh, look, it talks about a whole new world of fun. The Swampmaster is the first full suspension complete BMX bike

We the people stepping on people's toes out here because there's a couple people who made a Swampmaster technically

And then we the people did it. And they're like, they stole our idea. But it's like it's been a thing forever. Right

People have messed with that forever. So anyway, I ranted about that in a different podcast episode

But whatever. Okay. Enough. Enough yappen. Let's talk about the prime drive

So this is new, completely new model because it has gearing. Look how funky that looks at

That is funky looking. Okay, the riot, the seed, the 16 inches, okay

Now the thrill seeker, this is a new one. Okay, the 2020 collection comes flying out the gate with a totally new kind of bike with deep sunken roots in our historic brand

Originally designed in 2000, it was a revolutionary concept for the time, which put we the people on the map

So the gist that I got from it is it comes in smaller size and works all the way up to a 21 inch

which is kind of rare for we the people, most of their bikes might come in two

different size options, but generally they're only going to come in one as you get to the higher

end models. So the thrill seeker is available in both a short 20 inch and a long 21 inch. Thrill

seeker, small. Look how compact it looks. These tires look huge. This is a 20 inch tire with an 18 inch

frame. 99%. I mean, that's just how it looks. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm 99% sure

18 inch, 18 and a half inch top tube. 20 inch fork. Yeah

That's interesting. Okay, so wow, I'm really excited about this because one issue I have when I'm recommending bikes is for a smaller rider

There's not very many options. Like they've got to get a 20.00 or ride 18 inch wheels, which kind of limit them as they grow

So this, they can get 20 inch wheels with a smaller frame. Good job, we the people

Now, it's not the best quality. Loose ball is probably going to cost like 450 bucks

That's my guess. We'll see if I'm right. $450. It's not the best quality

All high tensile steel. but the rider who would ride this is going to be tiny. They're not going to bend it, break it anyway

This is the medium model, which you can tell the frame looks a little bit bigger

It's probably a 20.00 inch top tube, same colors, 20 inches, right

Okay, on 20 inch wheels. So this is comparable to like a fit park extra small, something really small with the 20 inch top tube

The geometry is a little bit responsive with the chain stay, but it's got a little more mellow of a head tube angle

which is going to balance everything out. The low standover height is perfect for those smaller riders

because they need a low standover height. Then the large is going to be 20.5, I bet

Yep, 20.5. And then X-L is probably a 21. So these are guys, these are low-quality bikes for sure

They're entry-level, but they're good for brand-new riders. Now, I don't necessarily think the way we

the people kind of positioned it here, that the taller one's going to be good for making it available

for Technical Street Park Rider and the Lofty Trail Vert Rider saying that the 21's for the lofty

trail vert rider, to me the 21's going to be for a taller guy who probably weighs more who would

absolutely destroy this high tensile steel frame, high tensile steel forks, high tensile steel bars

but I'm not going to go on a tangent about this. I'll go on a tangent about that later

I'm really, really excited about the 20.00 and the 18.5 inch. That's super exciting. Thrill

Seeker, I'm stoked for it. Now the Nova, I don't think there was very many changes. This is a new

color for sure. I was like, well, that looks different. So look at the new color on the Nova. I didn't

the Nova is the same thing. One of these bikes, I feel like it was a little bit overpriced in 2021

Let's flip over here to the score sheet. It scored a 2.67 in street, a 3.85 in park

a 1.54 in dirt, and only a 1.7 in quality, giving it a 3.6 value score

So it's not the best value bike, obviously. But for a brand, look at that

Like that is so much money for a bike that's full high tensile steel

Now, again, for it's 20.00 inch top tube for a small rider, they're not going to bend it

They're not going to break it. So having this low quality on the bike, the biggest thing you want to look at is the weight here, which is a little bit of a high weight

But still, Nova's a fine bike. It's not in my top list

And generally, I don't recommend it to people unless there's certain circuits. that would like make it to wear it's a perfect bike for them, but it's not very often

Anyway, the new color looks dope. So, so I rest my case. And then, okay, 20 inch, 20.5, and then the

CRS. So anyway, they've got the three colors here. I like the chrome's kind of sick

And then the black. But anyway, that's the NOVA, guys, 20.00 and 20.5 with some new

color options. The CRS in an 18 inch, but the CRS is also available. That's a nice color

In, what is? Oh, oh, interesting. Interesting. Is this new? Now the CRS bike comes in an 18 inch and it has

two different versions. It has this version and it has the FS version. The FS version comes with a

gyro, which is pretty fancy and a top load stem. Oh, they're both top load. Don't listen to me

But anyway, this is the new color for the normal 18 inch CRS version

Again, I don't talk about the 18 inches very much. This is the new color for the FS version

So pretty solid, solid looking bikes. Now, in the 20 inches, the CRS was similar to the Nova

It wasn't like a huge recommended bike for me because, again, very expensive

The CRS and the CRS free coaster, they scored a 5.5.1 and a 5.48 in the value factor

but they're damn near $500. dollars and not the best quality so guys when I'm doing this for you guys I

always want you to get the best bang for your buck and so that's kind of what a

lot of my reviews go around is what the best value for you if you spend five hundred dollars what kind of bike what kind of quality you going to get Because that what I want to do I want to help you make the most out of your money

On this bike, there's only a chromali down tube. And so that would be similar to the Sunday Scout

which made me so mad last year. It was a very expensive bike with only a chromali down tube

Oh, well, you know, oh, well, the CRS does come up on a lot of different bike recommendations because

a solid bike with a little bit of chromali in 20.00 or 20.25 is pretty hard to find

So if there's a mid-level rider who needs a 20.25 inch bike, the CRS is almost the closest I can get

because it has a teeny tiny bit more quality than some of the other bikes that size

So it's not the worst bike ever. Like everything's really situational and sometimes this is a good bike for somebody

It just really depends. And then here's the free coaster version. Beautiful, beautiful

Look at that new color. Ooh. So anyway, same thing as the other one, just has a free coaster instead

Now, what the hell? The arcade. I don't think. Okay, so there's almost all these bikes now

There's at least one new color option. And one thing I thought was particularly interesting was that they didn't get rid of colors and like swap them out

for the most part, they kept the colors and added a new color

So this line, if this PDF is exactly how it comes out to the consumers, this is going to be a huge line

It's going to have a lot of different options. Now, most of them being color options

But we the people does some weird things with sizes and things like that. Like the, is it the trust that has different frame dimensions based on whether it's a free coaster or a cassette

Like that kind of attention to detail on a bike, on a complete bike, is unheard of

Good job, we the people. But anyway, let's run through the arcade. These are the three different colors

It's got this nice black and camo color, which I really liked last year. This red one

And then the new color here. Look at this. Looks pretty teal

And it's a decent color. Translucent turquoise. So again, now this has a 4130 chromali top and down tube

so one extra chromali piece of tubing over the Nova, which bumps the quality score up to three from 2.7

So it's a little bit better quality, but the price also goes up quite a bit, keeping the value factor about the same

I mean, technically it's a little bit better. This bike almost scored a 5 in street, a 5 in park, and a 2.5 in dirt with the three quality score, like I said

So the We The People Arcade is getting a little bit better than these bikes

I mean, a lot better than the Nova. but the price is also going up

I do like the new translucent turquoise, and I'm always a fan of that matte black

with the camo tires. That is the arcade, the We the People Justice

I was really disappointed when I was flipping through these because I was like, bro, ghost gray, that's the same color as last year

Taxi Cab yellow, that's the same color as last year. But then, look at this

Just take a moment. Look at it. Okay, I'm a huge fan of that

I think that is like the silver and the black looks clean and then the teal just just pops

It's a really nice looking bike. The Justice is a decent bike because it steps it up to Trimali, full 4130 chromali fork with a budded cromali steer tube

22mm offset, guys, that is very responsive forks, very, very responsive forks, full cromali bars

So in the justice, things really start to step up. The thing that disappointed me was single wall rims

And I'm pretty sure that's going to be the case here. Yeah, Salt Val and single wall in the front, double wall in the rear

So the justice would be one of them. To me, this is where the line gets really exciting

And I love that they added on this color. Let's take a look at the justice

Justices scores. Okay, the justice scored a six in street, a 5.6 in park, and a 4.6 in dirt

and a 5.2 in quality score. So look at that. That jumped from a three to a five point two

They added a little bit more aftermarket parts, and they put a little bit more quality into

the justice, and that gives it a value score of 9.06. And this is what I say when this line starts to get really exciting to me, because the value

starts to step up. Like when you're spending $574 on the justice, you're getting a good amount of bike

And like, I respect that, and I like that. So the justice to me is one of the ones where you start looking at it

And this does show up on a lot of the bike recommendations that I send out for people because it's a solid bike

Now, I wish it was full kermoly that that high tensile back end is going to bend over time as you progress

especially if you weigh over 180 pounds. But that's okay. That is okay because you're getting decent bang for your buck

There's much better options. I mean, not much better. There's better options

There is better options. So anyway, let's move on. Oh, last thing

25.73 pounds. This is a very good weight, especially considering it has that

Brock it with the Bashguard and all of these hub guards. So this one's impressive

This is pretty impressive. And like I said, Gapalclicing back to that apology

we the people, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I was so hard on you in 2019. Like to me

when I initially look at this, like, oh my God, try Molly, $600

But you guys, they put, they make up for it in other areas

to be fair. And that's why I adjusted the quality score to really reflect that a lot more

Different things other than frame quality. to weigh differently and things like that. Oh, look, there's somebody on the score sheet

Anonymous iguana. How cool. Okay. Anyway, after the justice, we've got the we the people reason

This was one of my favorite bikes last year, especially this color, Matt Black with the oil, oil field, oil slick cranks

I think it stands out. It pops really good. And these are the two colors. But the third color is a purple

I'm not a purple fan, but this looks good. This looks pretty good. So anyway, it comes in the matte black, the matte blue, and the matte translucent purple

And this is where the frame gets full kermali, full kermali forks, full kermali bars

They come into four-piece bars. And then the rims, still a single wall in the front, but it does have that double wall in the rear

This was disappointing to me again, 2020 especially. And the weight jumps up quite a bit from the justice

This is a 20.75, so it's going to be the same size as the kink switch

and yeah, no pegs. It doesn't not come with pegs either, but let's look at the scores

Eight. Scores in Aden Street, and this is actually, if we look at the top five

street-specific bikes, the reason is number five because of the street score

So this is a pretty good street-specific bike. Comes with four hub guards

comes with two pegs in 2021. Does it come with two pegs this year

Pegs, two pegs. Yes, it does. It does. indeed come with pegs. That's good. Good job, We the People. Anyway, it's a responsive frame

I like the reason. I do really like the reason. And this shows up quite a bit on the bike

recommendations, even though it's just a tad bit heavy. Looks good. Cool colors, especially this one

Guys, beautiful. Look at this beautiful color. Okay, next is the We the People crisis

Looks good. Basic Colors is last year. This is the new color. This nice honey gold, I think. What do we

call it, metallic champagne. Honey gold would have been a better color option. We the people

if you want to hire me to pick your color options, I will gladly do that. This would have been

honey gold instead of metallic champagne, but I rest my case. Anyway, this bike is good because

it starts to have the full double wall rims front and back, full cromali, full cromali, full

cromali, full cromali. The quality just progressively gets better and the price also goes up. I'm a fan

of the crisis because it's a little geared towards dirt and it comes in two different size options

You can choose between the 20.5 or the 21. The bars are damn near 10 inches and 30 inches wide

Crazy I don even ride 9 inch bars I write 8 And but anyway let let pop over and look at the crisis scores Not so good in street okay so the price goes up quite a bit and again these are the 2021 prices i don know what

22 prices are going to be when you guys you guys download the score sheet if you don't haven't

the links in the description but i'll keep updating this as things come out and the biggest thing

we want to look for is what the value factor does because if the prices go up and everything

else stays the same the value factor is going to drop down on these bikes and we don't want that to

happen. So the crisis is going to be a little bit lower weight than the reason, a little bit lower

value factor because the quality doesn't change very much to justify that price increase

And then, but it is going to be significantly better for dirt than the reason. It's almost a six

in dirt and almost a seven in street. So there you go. That's what the crisis does. That's what it

scores. Look at these giant tires. 2.35 overbite tires. Crazy. Next, I'm excited

because the versus. One of the few high level park-specific bikes available in 2021

is back for 2022 with a new color. Red. I like red

I don't know. It's a little basic. I think I like this color better. Just it's more unique

But I particularly like the tires, right? The Mirage tires, very park-specific

You can see there's low, low, low rolling resistance on these bad boys

2.25, they're going to be thinner than the 2.35. on the last bike, which again, less rolling resistance, solid

Comes with the gyro so that you can spin 6,000 barspins. Comes with a front load stem instead of a top load stem

Comes with three hub guards, no pegs. Actually, it comes with two pegs. I lied. Three hub guards and two pegs

And yeah, anyway, this is, this bike is a really, it's a standout from the rest of their

line because it is park specific. It's a standout from just about any other park-specific bike because of the quality

So the next highest quality park-specific bike would be the forecaster park

And the versus just blows it out of the water, quality-wise, just blows it out of the water

I do. I really like the versus, and it excites me because it's, like I said, one of the few park-specific bikes

It's almost $800 in 2021. I mean, 750, but look at this

6.4 in Street, 9.23 in Park. Scores just as high as another bike, which we will see later

4.87 in dirt and 6.8 quality. I wish it could have scored higher like the kink cloud

but it just some of the parts are missing. Some of the quality parts are missing on there

It's still really, it's the highest quality park-specific bike you'll find because of the gyro and stuff like that

But it could do better in the quality section, just a teeny bit

You know, like a Sunday dark wave. Could be completely aftermarket frame, forks and bars

and then it would just be a machine. 26.74 pounds last year. It's the same this year. Not much has changed. 20.65 inch top tube tube

too, very responsive, head tube angle, 26 millimeter offset forks. This thing's responsive. Very responsive

Full Kamali, double wall rims, hub guards, you name it. Love this bike. I really love the versus

And I'm glad they added this color. All right. Now, moving on to the new model. You're like

what the hell is this thing? This is the we the people sinus, sinus

It's a flatland bike, which Colony is the only other brand to make a flatland-specific

complete bike. And I think we the people found the hole here and filled it

This is going to help a lot of people. I get a lot of requests where people are like, I ride street, but I also want to ride flatland

And it's hard to say, like, oh, customize it for one thing or another because it's possible

but a flatland-specific bike, like look at there's zero degrees, zero-millimeter offset

These are straight down on the forks. The head tube angle looks incredibly steep

The top tube is lower. The frame looks shorter. It's probably 19 or 18

Yeah, so anyway, this thing is flatland-specific, and I'm very excited because this is, like I said

it's a hole in the market, and we have the people jumped on it. So good job, we the people. Full Kermali

I think I saw it has a oh wow yeah okay I don't know the price point on this bike but it's got the full Kamali everything which is already better quality than the colony and it's got the we the people hybrid free coaster this thing's sick 19 inch top tube like I said zero millimeter offset forks this is really cool shorter bars perfect for flatland so you guys who like to dabble in flatland you could buy this bike on top of it and this could be your flatland machine the other one could be your streetmen

machine. I don't know, but I'm really glad that they came out with this. I'm super excited to see

everyone's reaction on it. This is like, this is going to be a game changer in my opinion. So

so excited. Okay, next, though we the people trust. I don't think they changed anything on the

trust. A little disappointing. The red stripe down the tires, cool, could be confusing because you

can't really see it from here. But Jared, our homie Jared, has the trust. He loves it. He has it in this

color and it's a solid bike it's actually scored number four i think for street specific yep number four

scores an 8.44 in street it weighs 26.6 pounds and has a free coaster has four pegs has hub guards

it's a solid solid bike oh i lied it only has two pegs that is wrong oh my god so i'm gonna get

fired somebody fire me okay anyway we fix that real quick um but double wall rims ecloth

So the quality here really starts to elevate because we're using now we're using a claw parts instead of salt and

It's just going to have a lot more quality on this bike 48 spline cranks like you do not get that on very many complete bikes

It is a tad bit expensive. Let's take a look at the scores But this is a great great bike that I

I kind of overlooked for sure in 2021 And then I looked back at it. I was like hey wait a minute. This is a great bike 7.2 quality score

$821 or $831. The free coaster version inevitably is going to score higher than the cassette version in

Street and Park. It's also due to some of the geometry changes that I mentioned

The free coaster geometry is a little bit different than the cassette. But these are the scores

8.4 in Street, 7.1 in Park, 4.8 in dirt, and 7.2 in quality for the free coaster

Very solid bike, very, very good bike. But nothing's really changed for 2021, you know, so it's a little disappointed

pointing. I should have just skipped over it. The battleship. Same thing. It has not changed much

but the one color. And I already skipped to it. This color was last year. This is right-hand drive

This color is right-hand drive. This is the new color. Looks pretty good. I like the white walls

There's a couple like Dugster-Bobbers who will send me pictures of their bike, like David Dennis

And he threw white walls on his bike and just adds a nice, clean touch to it. You know, you can tell

you're putting some extra love into your bike when you throw on those white walls. This thing

looks sick. And this has always been probably my favorite colored bike. This is the left hand drive

The red back tire, the blue front tire, the chrome. Everything combines or complements each other very

nicely. I love this bike. This color will still be one of my favorite colors of bikes ever

But nothing's really changed. Full Kamali aftermarket battleship frame. Aftermarket battleship forks. You get a lifetime guarantee on the frame and the forks. 20.7 inch top tube

inch center chain stay. And yeah, you know, this is a very high quality bike. It's got lots of

aftermarket parts and it scores very high. It scores a 9.1 in street, a 7.4 in park, a 5.6 in dirt

but a 9.8 in quality. One of the few bikes to get this close to a 10. Almost, almost got the 10

but not quite. And it's very expensive. 2021 models $1,200 so it only has an 8.17

value factor score but it's a very nice bike like if i was in the market for a complete bike i'd

either go with the battleship the envy or the dark wave one of the two probably not the battleship

because the 20 inch frame but i love that i love the red and blue tires i just can get over it all right Next on the list the We the People Revolver And like I said about the versus the revolver is also one of my favorite bikes for the same reason

This is a good dirt specific bike, high quality dirt specific bike

And you don't get that anywhere else. So let's look at the revolver

Exact same color as last year. I'm a little bit disappointed. But look at this, 21 inch top tube, 13.4 on center chainstakes

74.8 mellow head tube angle, 9.25 inch rise bars. This thing is designed for trails, 30 millimeter offset forks

Full Kermali Sanko investment cast wishbone and 7.5 millimeter dropouts. Post liquid heat treated and budded Sanko tubing forks

Amazing. This bike is high, high quality, high quality. And it weighs 26.6 pounds

Let's look at the scores. You guys ready for this? 5.7 in street, 5.3 in park, and a 10 in dirt. That's right. The only bike in this huge score sheet with over 80 bikes. Oh my God, 80 now? It used to be only 50. Jesus Christ. With over 80 bikes, this is the only one to score a 10. Very good dirt specific bike. And it's a 9.4 in quality. So if dirt's your thing, you know, you're a taller guy. This is your thing. This is your bike. Your 22 revolver, even though it's the exact same as the 2021 revolver

the envy almost the last one i have loved the envy for a while because it comes in 20.5 or 21 inch top

tube that's that's my biggest thing because a really high quality bike with a really high

quality score you're not going to find in a 20.5 you're going to find in a 20.75 or 20.1 so recommending

something for a smaller rider who's fully grown that needs 20.5 but wants something that's going to last

forever has been hard and that's where the envies comes into play and that's why i really like the envy like

i said 20.5 or 21 inch top tube right there that makes life easy 9.4 inch bars jesus christ

full aftermarket chromoly frames it's made from hydroform tubing it's like it's nice all

look at all this stuff post liquid heat treated and budded sanco tubing on the forks full butted

Sanko post-liquid heat-treated 25.4 clamping. Like, that is just fancy words. If I didn't know

what that meant, I'd think, oh my God, this is crazy. And it is. You know, it's, like I said earlier

We The People puts a different level of quality into their parts, especially their high-end complete bikes, and I really

respect them for that. They put a lot of work into it. So anyway, double wall, welded rims

That is another step up, just a small detail that a lot of companies skip over, welded instead of pinned, weighs 24.38, one of the

lightest complete bikes available. Let's check out the scores on this bad boy, 7.3 in street, 9.23 in Park

This is the bike that scored the same as the versus. The versus scored 9.23. The NV also

scored 9.23. So it actually earned spot number, so it actually earned spot number two for park

just because the value factor is a little bit lower than the value factor on the versus because of the price

But anyway, no free coaster, right? This bike is a cassette. Comes with the hub guards, but no pegs

And like I said, it's very light. It's almost two pounds lighter than the versus. Very light bike. Expert quality. It's amazing. But in 2022, they changed it up and they gave us the NV-carbonic

Look at that. Looks like the bars are pushed a little bit too far forward

Whoever put this together didn't have the same eye to detail as we the people, I guess

But anyway, does this mean it has the carbonic rims? Look at that

The carbon fiber rims. This is insane. Absolutely insane. Wow. Wow. I can't imagine

I'm curious. What do you guys think? Throw it right now in the comments if you've watched this far. How much is this bike going to be

Like, how much is it going to cost? It's got to cost a crazy amount

We'll see. I'm going to guess 1750. I'm going to guess 1750

Because they're like, oh, people buy our $1,300 bikes. Why, they buy a $1,700 bike

But, yeah, same thing as the other envy, though. You know, the only difference here is the carbonic rims

So, amazing quality. But now let's talk about the really exciting thing

I'm going to skip over all these big bikes, guys. You big bike riders, I'm sorry. I don't talk about them

This thing's funky as hell. Very funky. Anyway, skipping over it, the swamp master

Now, this caused so much drama. This caused a crazy amount of drama when they released stuff about it in 2021

They started talking about it at 2020. And the people who have kind of been building a prototype

I can't remember the name of their brand. But they threw a fit

I said, we the people, And maybe they did. Maybe they did. I don't know. Maybe they didn't. If they did, they should

have had a patent on it. But you probably can't patent something like this because people have been doing it forever. So nobody copied you. But anyway, I don't know. That could be fake. We have people

has a lot of money and a lot of power compared to the two people working on this. And so it would be

kind of unfair for them to do that. But it is a dog eat dog world. And if you are not working harder

somebody else is going to outwork you and take it from you. Like

The smart thing I think for them to do would have been to partner with We the People and say

hey, we have this great idea. Here's our prototype. Like, let's go and get a cut out of it

Let We The People do the hard work. Because otherwise, this is what happens. We The People says, cool, we're going to make our own

Boom. This is what's happening. But look at this. Disc brakes, full suspension, 20 inch bike, 21.5 inch top tube, 20 inch wheels
