Tom's River NJ - Town council Votes Against Immigrants

Tom's River NJ - The town council called the meeting at approximately 6:30 pm with all but one member in attendance who was remote to undisclosed sickness. Per usual the council called to motion adopting the prior months minutes and unanimous consent for the August meeting. Based on census data from the 2024 American Community Survey, the non citizen population accounts to 0.004% of the towns population. Primarily one of the "reddest" towns in the state there has been a documented pattern of rhetoric aimed at villainizing those who do not fit the demographic of white middle class citizens.
