Salome Jug Canyon Canyoneering Adventure: Hiking Arizona's Tonto National Forest

54 views May 3, 2025

In this video, we try to do a very fun looking canyon in Arizona, called the Salome Jug. When the water is high, it looks like a waterpark. However, we quickly realized that there was not enough water in the canyon and we turned around before having to swim through a very dirty, stagnant pool. Since canyons were not working for us, we decided to try the mountains. The Organ Needle mountain, to be precise. There, we hiked for 8 hours trying to reach the summit at over 8500 feet. Sadly, we had to turn around, just 50 feet from the summit. After two failed hikes, we decided to go the White Sands National Park, where we had fun sledding down the dunes and enjoyed the beauty of such a unique place.
