DIY Van Conversion: Build Your Dream Home on Wheels

We built this van back in the winter of 2022 for less than $5,000CAD. It took us about 4 months to build the majority of it, with some small projects added on as we travelled in it. The van is equipped with: - 200W of solar panels - 85Ah battery storage - 12V fridge - Diesel Heater - Insulation - Maxxfan ceiling ventilation - 12V water pump - Sink and faucet - 40L of freshwater - 10L greywater - Pot lights and string lights - 4 drawers for storage - Butane cookstove We used it part-time while we built our log cabin. In September 2024, we left the cabin to travel full-time in the van! The plan is to travel North America for 1 year in it and so far, the van has been working perfectly!
