Try It, You'll Like It

Back in the early 1970’s, there was an ad for Alka Seltzer that said “Try It, You’ll Like It” I was thinking about that ad the other today because it reminded me of how many friends, acquaintances, and other people that know me as That Gratitude Guy, ask me how to better their lives, or feel better on a particular day.
As you can imagine, one of the first things I say is: “Have you tried a gratitude journal?” In so many cases, I hear: “Well no, but do you think it would work?
So I think I will start sounding like that old Alka Seltzer ad and say “Try It You’ll Like It”
It has been my experience that writing in a gratitude journal is very similar to the value of exercise. I have never come back from exercising and not felt better. Sometimes a little better, and sometimes a lot better, but ALWAYS better.
That is the same concept as writing in your gratitude journal. You will always feel better after you write in your gratitude journal and focus on everything you have in your life. That constant focusing on what you are grateful for will do wonders. So……
Try it, you’ll like it!
Now, The Gratitude Tip of the Day…… If you write in your gratitude journal in the morning, reread it before you go to bed, and notice how much better you will sleep.
