Hi, it's the Broker That Gratitude Guy
0:02
Today is Martin Luther King Day, of course one of the many holidays that we celebrate throughout the year
0:07
But I started thinking about Martin Luther King and what does he represent
0:11
Somebody who was willing to step up and take a chance and have a complete belief
0:16
in what he felt was right in this world. And when I think about gratitude and I think about how much we're talking about framing
0:22
what we have in our life versus what we don't have and really focusing on what we have
0:27
think about the inspiration that Dr. King left for us. Somebody who wasn't afraid to stand up for his beliefs
0:33
and obviously felt so strongly about it that he risked his life and ultimately died
0:39
in the pursuit of explaining to everybody the importance of, in this case, civil rights
0:43
So use this holiday today to think about what you're grateful for
0:47
to think about what you're passionate for, to think about what, maybe how you can make a difference in this world
0:52
There's so many individuals that one person has made such a difference in
0:57
Martin Luther King, as I mentioned, and Ralph Nader and all these individual people, one person that made a huge difference
1:02
You can be that one person. So take this opportunity today on Martin Luther King Day
1:07
to think about the difference that you could make. Think about being grateful for everything that you have
1:12
and how can you take that and explain that and send your message out to other people
1:17
and share your gratitude and share your message. So think about that today on Martin Luther King Day
1:22
Be grateful we have people in our past that have made our present and our future so great
1:27
because of their efforts. That's the message for today. Have a grateful day. Have a grateful Martin Luther King Day
1:32
and we'll see you tomorrow
