My friend Mr. Taster and I, along with our friends at Kootook Travel, were having a blast! It was like a wild street party, with musicians playing, people dancing, people in costumes, and people singing and ululating! He was so much fun! We were at Ramezan, the most famous kebab house in the area. The people here have dinner very late at night. In the kitchen, we watched them grill kebabs over a grill, and then we tried some kebabs. They were so tasty. They had dried lemon on them, so they had a nice citrus flavor to them. We also saw them cooking chicken, fat, heart, buffalo, and kidney kebabs. They would be making an assortment of them. I tried the chicken kebab, which was tasty and juicy but not too spicy. We followed that with the kidney, which was piping hot and rich in iron flavor. The heart was super tender and had some nice local salt on it. The buffalo was melt-in-your-mouth fantastic. Then, they put some quail on the grill. Next, we went outside on the grass to smoke some shisha and eat our quail. The quail was small but there was lots of meat on it. I liked the onion and herbs that came with it.
