My whirlwind 48 hours in New York City continued with an incredible tour of its rich Little Albania neighborhood! Over the past century, Albanian immigrants have moved to this part of the city, also known as Little Italy. From byre to rakija to tavas to cevapi, you can find it all here! We also enjoyed some rakija, petulla/krofne with spicy honey, and palačinke (Balkan crepes) with Nutella! TEUTA QEBAPTORE: Here, we had some delicious qofte, qebapa, and sujuk with salad, cheese, kaymak, and ajvar! DÉA: Here, we enjoyed some crispy cheese and meat byrek.
