TASTER: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheMrtaster BUY IRAN JERSEYS: http://www.eBay.com/usr/iranjersey My once-in-a-lifetime exploration of Isfahan, Iran, continued with visits to a pair of spots that each sell an iconic Iranian dish! Come with me as we try two famous Persian dishes in Isfahan, Iran! Mr. Taster and I began our adventure at Haj Mahmoud Beryani. They sell a dish called beryani, which contains mutton, sheep lungs, meat juice, and more. It’s insane! SUBSCRIBE TO MY NEWSLETTER: https://bit.ly/3JR71yN MY TRAVEL BLOG: https://davidsbeenhere.com/ They take a lamb patty and minced lung and wrap it in flatbread. The lamb patty contains cinnamon, saffron, and parsley. The food smelled unbelievable! They also added onion, tomatoes, meat juice, and more. I couldn’t get over how incredible the aroma was! The bread and the meat juice in the first dish blew my mind. I loved the texture. It was so unreal that I could have eaten several bowls of it! We added some basil, which enhanced the flavor even more. It was heaven in a bowl! Next was the beryani! Tehe fried lamb patty was crispy on the outside and had a bit of sweetness from the cinnamon. The patty, lungs, saffron, cinnamon, and bread was the perfect combination. I also loved the meatiness and fattiness, and pairing it with the basil, sangak bread, lemon juice, and onions took it to a whole other level. This was probably one of my favorite dishes I’ve ever had while traveling. I’m already a big lamb guy, but this was lamb on steroids! It made me so happy. Now I understood why Mr. Taster had been talking about this dish all day! It was my number one dish in the country now, even ahead of kale pache!
