I don’t know if perfection is possible. But I want to be caught chasing it. Look, I’m not naïve. I know this side of heaven, perfection isn’t the reality. We stumble. We fall short. We’re works in progress until the day we meet Jesus face-to-face. But the pursuit matters. The direction you’re running matters. When Christ returns, I don’t want Him to find me coasting, comfortable, making excuses for mediocrity. I want Him to catch me mid-stride—still pressing, still growing, still fighting to be more like Him than I was the day before. Perfection might be out of reach. But the relentless pursuit of it? That’s well within our grasps. Keep chasing. Keep pressing.
