Woodturning - Clear Resin and Pine Cone Vase

In this project, I take Australian mallee burl as the base, add pine cones, and cast them in crystal-clear deep pour epoxy resin to create a one-of-a-kind hybrid vase. The transparent resin highlights every detail of the pine cones, while the mallee burl adds natural beauty and contrast. After turning the piece on the lathe, I finish it with a premium coating resin for a flawless, glass-like shine that makes the colours truly pop. The result is a breathtaking fusion of wood and resin — a unique centerpiece that showcases the artistry of woodturning and resin casting.
