A Response to the Goose and Auntie
To both the Goose and yourself, my response is given here, whether you care to receive it or not. Of all the points raised by the Goose, it is not necessary to respond to every one of them.
When you were born, you could neither speak, nor read, nor write. To make critical or pedantic remarks about spelling or speech is not gracious—yet that seemed to be part of your first response to me. I became a Christian at the age of twenty-one, when I was virtually illiterate. I learned to read by reading the Authorised (King James) Bible, together with other Christian writings. Such reading may benefit you likewise. “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple” (Psalm 119:130). And now, at seventy-six years of age, with some teeth missing, my speech may not be as eloquent as yours.
With regard to your comments, you will find my reply in the video entitled @AuntieTheistJuror response. I valued that exchange, and was not aware of its removal. Concerning the matter of scholarship, you will discover that scholars are not always to be relied upon, for they too can err. “For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent” (1 Corinthians 1:19). Here is a link that may be of help to any genuine person seeking to be educated, and I would welcome a link to any work you recommend in return:

I take the biblical account of creation to be both true and accurate. Any so-called evidence that claims otherwise ought to be re-examined with care. The fact that you reject it is your choice, but as you have said to me plainly, so I must also say to you—you are wrong. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).
Without the Bible, where can anyone obtain a true reference point for morality? What is your definition of morality? The flood that destroyed the world was the judgement of God, and its lesson is plain: do not trifle with Him. “And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly” (2 Peter 2:5).
In the same way, the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 was the fulfilment of Christ’s own words. “But when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh” (Luke 21:20). Both stand as solemn warnings to us all.
P.S. I am truly thankful for this correspondence, as it will be used as a teaching tool for my daughter and friends.
