Today's one's going to be me buying an ETF on the ASX

So quite quick and easy, but I'll just show you the steps that I go through

You see that I'm on the platform stake here. I'm on the Australian market version or the ASX side of it

I'm just going to head and going to buy a thousand dollars worth of IOO, which is

what I do currently at the start of every month. I've already deposited the money into stake

I did that just through a bank transfer and it came in within 10 or so minutes

You can see here, I've got buying power of just over a thousand dollars and I've got the one holding here

If I click on the holding, I can see all the information on it. Today it's gone a bit up and down

You can see the history. That's not really that important to me. What is important to me is investing over time for a very long time

What I'm going to do is I'm going to go and buy as much as I possibly can with the money in here

I've just got over a thousand dollars in the kitty. If I click on that, I can go ahead and enter that into the amount here

What I'm actually going to do is click on a market order, which means I'll just buy

the amounts of shares that are available. I've gone and picked market order, which means I can just put in the amount and

that will just determine how many shares I get from that. Because the stock is $97 per share, I'll probably get around 10 out of the

thousand dollars that I have. If I go and review it, you can see that I've got 10 shares

I'm going to be buying 10 shares for $970 odd dollars. I would pay brokerage

I've gone and got taken up some offer where I get free brokerage for a bit

So that's why it's showing $0. I think it's $3 normally with stake

I can click on done. I can see that my equity has been increased and the number of shares that I
