Drawing My Grandad (Raymond William Carter)
James Carter Art
This was one of the most enjoyable drawings I’ve done, I really really enjoyed it. It has taken me over 50 hours, and countless amounts of coffee.
This drawing is of my grandad ‘Ray Carter’ who passed away a long time ago, and I drew it for my dads birthday.
I drew this in Faber-Castell polychromos 120, https://amzn.to/2XgfzrM and I am really trying to improve my skills as a realism artist, and these pencils are just so amazing in helping me achieve that.
I have absolutely loved drawing this, and every moment was worth it, although I enjoy the end result of the drawing, I love the process of it even more, and now this one is done, It’s onto the next artwork.
Thank you so much everyone for all the amazing support I have received while doing this drawing.
