0:00
hey guys welcome back to another video
0:02
in my series where I talk all about
0:04
Indian breads today I'm going to talk
0:06
about one of my all-time favorite breads
0:09
which is puh-leeze that delicious fried
0:12
in ghee and they're really puffy and
0:14
crispy let's get it started right now
0:16
and I can't wait to show you guys my
0:18
favorite bread so as you guys know
0:24
I love lose my KitchenAid it always
0:25
makes my life easier to make breads so
0:28
let's get it started with some hotter
0:30
flour so in my bowl here I'm using about
0:32
1.5 cups of water flour and all we have
0:35
to do now is mix this up with some water
0:37
and add in a tablespoon of key off your
0:41
dough is ready let's start kneading it
0:42
so first of all let's roll it out into a
0:46
tin sort of a cylinder that's gonna help
0:52
you portion it out and from there you
0:54
can start making your dough balls now
0:58
for each of them balls roll them out
1:00
until it's a flat disk then using my
1:03
handy tool over here I will roll these
1:07
out into a thin disc so that's perfect
1:09
now do the same for the remaining dough
1:12
balls alternatively if you're a pro at
1:15
these already then just start hitting a
1:18
few key and as you keep making the disks
1:20
keep frying them and serving them hot so
1:24
we will be deep-frying these please so
1:26
we need quite significant amount of key
1:29
if he's something he don't get at your
1:31
local store you can use vegetable oil so
1:34
I'm using a wok today and start heating
1:36
up your key in your wok or any deep dish
1:40
pan which will be big enough to fry
1:43
I'm heating it at medium heat and later
1:46
on we will control the temperature
1:48
ideally you would want to heat yogi
1:51
until it starts smoking alternatively
1:53
you can test if your keys ready to fry
1:55
by using a small piece of dough and
1:58
putting it in Lugi and if it rises up
2:01
almost instantly that means you're ready
2:04
to start frying your booties carefully
2:06
slide in the pooris into the key
2:08
and make sure to toss some key with a
2:12
spool carefully onto the buoys
2:15
this step will really help to make sure
2:17
that the poos become nice and fluffy and
2:21
it doesn't get overcooked I like my
2:23
poorest to be soft and slightly golden
2:26
brown fry the rest of the buoys just the
2:29
same way and you'll be left with the
2:31
delicious stack which you can enjoy with
2:33
your favorite curry so there you have it
2:36
booties are so close to my heart and it
2:38
was a Sunday treat every you will have
2:40
we always painted with a delicious
2:42
potato and tomato curry it's goes
2:46
wonderfully well and poo-ish can go
2:48
super well with various of the dishes
2:51
such as chickpeas kidney beans and even
2:54
stuffed potatoes so I really hope you
2:56
