Cooking Tools - My Favourite Pots and Pans | Cooking Basics & Essentials Ep. 2 | Cooking with Anadi
May 28, 2018
Hey everyone! Today is Episode 2 of my series Cooking Basics and Essentials. For the next two episodes I want to show you my favourite cooking tools that I could not love without in my kitchen to create the greatest dishes! It would be too long to discuss everything at once, so this first video will discuss the pots and pans that I use on a regular basis. I will be sharing with you what to consider when purchasing pots and pans and my recommendations.
I hope you all found this video helpful, subscribe and like to support this series for beginners!

hey guys welcome to episode 2 of my
0:02
series on cooking basic fan essentials
0:04
they are they going to sub the tools
0:06
that I cannot live without so let's get
0:09
started right now so I decided to choose
0:15
this to be the next video because having
0:18
the proper tools is as important as
0:21
having a proper kitchen without the
0:23
proper tools which will help you get to
0:25
where you want to be you will be at a
0:28
loss so let's get started first with
0:30
pans so personally I really love the
0:32
Henkel brand I don't think they are
0:34
super expensive but they're like at a
0:36
medium range and what I love about them
0:38
like this pan over here have you bought
0:42
them and it's really sturdy and this one
0:45
is a nonstick pan and it's not a Teflon
0:48
coating you need to be careful when you
0:50
get non-stick pans because some cheaper
0:52
versions of Teflon they pose health
0:54
risks to you and let's say if you are
0:56
cooking and you chip the pan and the
0:59
Teflon coating it has a crack in it yeah
1:02
all that poison is going into your food
1:04
and you don't want them so this pan
1:05
right here has a ceramic coating I've
1:07
really come to love this pan it still
1:09
has its excellent nonstick capabilities
1:11
and I think it's about six month old now
1:14
I mostly use this fan for eggs I try to
1:16
limit it to that sometimes I make
1:18
pancakes in them and every time the
1:21
results are amazing I also have a bigger
1:23
pan I'm the same type and I use that for
1:26
more heavy-duty stuff like one part
1:28
pastas and it can also go into the oven
1:30
and that's really convenient so next in
1:33
my tool kit is my stainless-steel time
1:35
this pan I use it for every single thing
1:38
it's multi-purpose super durable it's
1:41
again a software on bottom pan and I use
1:43
it for everything from stir fries to
1:45
pasta sauces searing meat and even
1:48
curries what I think is really useful
1:49
when you get a pan like this is if you
1:52
can find a tight-fitting lid on it it
1:53
really comes in handy and this pan going
1:56
to the oven for up to 500 Fahrenheit and
1:58
it's excellent for one part dishes you
2:01
stir-fry it here put the lid on in the
2:04
oven and it's a one-pot deliciousness
2:07
this way you may have seen me cooking my
2:09
one pot chicken and rice a lot of
2:12
shrimp and also curries and it's just
2:15
delicious
2:15
so next another really important tool
2:18
which I really love is my grill pan now
2:20
being in an apartment I'm not really
2:22
allowed to have a BBQ Corelli here so
2:25
even though I can't barbecue
2:28
I can still grill foods and keep it
2:31
healthy and light using a grill pan and
2:34
I love to use this pan to get the
2:35
amazing grill marks on grilled cheeses
2:38
on my tandoori salmon and even - grilled
2:41
skewers onto this and also helps to
2:43
impart this amazing smokiness which I'm
2:45
sure everybody loves this is another
2:48
nonstick pan it's more of a wok actually
2:52
the nonstick coating is simply amazing
2:54
I forgot it from India I use it for stir
2:56
fries like all the time and it also is
2:58
really amazing to make the crispy stir
3:01
fried potatoes which are all absolutely
3:03
love with kidney beans and rice I also
3:06
have another type of wah but this one is
3:08
in a stainless steel so this spaceship
3:10
looking thing is don't worry it's just a
3:13
walk with a really huge bulky handle but
3:16
what it does is really encapsulates all
3:18
that steam all that heat inside the pan
3:22
which I feel does a tremendous job I
3:25
love this wok especially if I'm making a
3:28
big batch of curry and it's amazing to
3:31
make stools spaghetti bolognaise and
3:34
even soups and this is again another
3:36
part from ankle
3:37
almost everything in my kitchen is from
3:39
them and even though I'm not sponsored I
3:41
mean that wanna it's all amazing and I
3:44
have no complaints but so last but not
3:47
least this sleek cooking pan is my table
3:50
pans primarily used to make bread it's
3:53
an Indian equipment if you google it you
3:54
can search for tava
3:56
and this pan is meant to smoke put it on
3:58
medium to medium-high heat until it
4:00
starts smoking and then you roll out
4:02
your dough and you place it on here and
4:04
it really helps to puff up that bread
4:07
and put that smokiness in it I used to
4:10
make rotis baran toss stuffed parantha a
4:13
potato and paneer and also to make
4:16
tortillas it works great for that and my
4:19
naan breads also made on the Taliban so
4:21
that is it for this video I don't want
4:23
to make it too long I can go
4:25
on and on a pi3 and I talk about
4:28
all the other stuff that's left in the
4:30
kitchen for me to share with you if
4:32
there was only one or two things which I
4:34
could not lift it out which if you are
4:36
on a budget I would suggest you get is
4:38
at least a stainless steel pan and a
4:40
non-stick plan you can use a nonstick
4:42
pan for your breakfast and for all the
4:44
delicate stuff and a stainless steel pan
4:47
is multi-purpose and you can make almost
4:49
anything in it you can even make one
4:51
part pastas in it such that you don't
4:53
even need a pot to boil it you can put
4:55
broth and your all your toppings and all
4:58
the pasta and simmer it until your pasta
5:01
is all cup what's the one kitchen tool
5:03
which you cannot live without leave it
5:05
in the comments down below and I'm
5:07
really excited to see what you guys
