'A Spectacular Man' - Trump Makes Vice Presidential Announcement

Hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and former president Donald

Trump the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party. He's just laid a bombshell vice presidential

announcement that has absolutely shaken the campaign. Before we get started please make

Mine is Tim Scott. I've said it again and again he's ready to be president right now. He is a

presidential person. He's a serious person. I really like Tim Scott. I've been a Tim Scott fan

for probably a decade when I really started to listen to him speak and I think he could be next

in line for the presidency if he's Trump's vice president. That being said Trump he gave another

name yesterday a name that I had not heard bandied about that he said was a spectacular man

and could be the vice president. Now this would be an interesting vice president for a lot of

reasons and I think it would show that Trump is not looking for he's not looking to score points

or check boxes. He's looking to get the best person for the job and that's evidenced in the

people he's been considering. So I want you to watch this video of the former president talking

and who he mentions would be a good choice for vice president and then I want you to give me

your opinions. I really want to know who you want to see for vice president. Now I've asked this

question before you guys always give great answers. I want to hear and when you give me the name

give me a reason too because I really want to hear it. You know a lot of times you guys say stuff and

Is Governor Abbott on that list. Well I'll tell you what. I know I'm not on the list. I know and I told

Sean before I've been hearing that more and more from friends of mine after the show. I think I'm

going to hear it a lot more too. He's a spectacular man. I was honored when I got his endorsement like

seven months ago. Right. Months ago and I likewise endorsed it. We didn't have a deal. It wasn't like

you endorse me I'll endorse you. I just felt good about it. And he came out and he said I'd like to

endorse you. You did a good job. And I felt the same way about him. And he's done a great job. Yes

certainly he would be somebody that I would very much consider. So he's on the list. Absolutely

Anyone else that maybe we haven't heard. Well you know it's very funny. I was talking about Tim Scott

You guys negotiate. He was not him for himself. He was fine. He did OK. I mean he was OK as a

candidate. But he didn't want to talk about himself. You know he's a very good man. For me he's

unbelievable. He's a surrogate. He goes on these shows and he's ripping everybody apart. He's very

humble. I told him I said Tim you know what you're much better for me than you are for yourself

So he's done a very good job. We have a lot of them. We have a lot of we have a lot of great

people in the world. This man is a terrific job. Well now you know you're on the shortlist

Joe Biden and the federal government are not doing and how they fight you every step of the way

This has been your top issue. And the fact that Biden showed up today is a national joke
