0:38
out you know I don't know if President
0:42
Biden is so delusional he believes his
0:44
own
0:45
nonsense I don't know if he's just
0:48
trying just trying to destroy kamla
0:52
Harris I don't
0:54
know really what he's thinking but he
0:58
just gave an interview to USA Today
1:01
and in that interview he said that he
1:04
believes according to the
1:06
polling that he could have defeated
1:08
Donald Trump which says well Harris
1:11
couldn't have but I could have and I
1:12
should have stayed in it he went on in
1:15
the interview to say he's not even
1:16
certain he could have served the full
1:17
four years but be that as it may because
1:19
he finally admitted
1:21
that what polls were you looking at bro
1:25
you were way behind
1:26
Harris and she got her clock cleaned
1:30
and you were way behind Trump what polls
1:33
would you pull your family you pull your
1:36
friends and neighbors who did you
1:38
poll that said you could have beat Trump
1:41
every poll that I know of had you miles
1:45
behind
1:46
him it was going to be a drubbing it's
1:48
why Nancy Pelosi had to come to your
1:50
office and beg you to get out basically
1:52
threaten you to get
1:53
out and you think you could have beat
1:56
him bro
2:00
and I mean this with all due respect Mr
2:02
President I shouldn't be calling you bro
2:03
you're the president United States Mr
2:06
President what do you thinking are you
2:08
thinking is this the cognitive decline
2:11
we're talking about maybe you're
2:12
thinking about polls that existed in
2:14
2019 and 2020 and you're somehow
2:16
bringing them forward to 2024 I don't
2:19
know but you're
2:21
wrong and off the off the off your
2:24
rocker I want you guys to look at this
2:26
video and let me know what you think in
2:27
the comments and brand new interview
2:30
with USA Today President Biden said he
2:33
thinks he could have won the 2024
2:35
presidential election but wasn't sure if
2:38
he would have had the energy for another
2:40
term in that rare exit interview he also
2:42
revealed he hasn't decided if he'll join
2:44
three other presidents in issuing
2:46
preemptive pardons CNN's arlet signs is
2:49
joining us now what did he say that sort
2:52
of led him to run for a second term in
2:55
the first
2:57
place well say our President Biden Biden
3:00
has said that he was driven by the need
3:02
to ensure that Donald Trump did not
3:04
return to the White House and in this
3:06
interview with USA Today he said that he
3:08
still does believe that he could have
3:10
won the election in November but the
3:12
president the 82-year-old president
3:15
makes a very Stark admission when he
3:17
said that he does not know if he would
3:19
have the stamina to serve in a second
3:22
term I want to read you a bit of this
3:23
interview that he had with uh USA Today
3:25
Susan Paige where Paige asked do you
3:27
believe you could have won in November
3:29
the president said it's presumptuous to
3:31
say that but I think yes based on the
3:34
polling that and then she asks do you
3:36
think you would have had the Vigor to
3:38
serve another four years in office Biden
3:41
then says he was motivated to run in the
3:43
first place back in 2020 in order to
3:45
defeat Trump but then he says about a
3:47
second term I don't know who the hell
3:50
knows so far so good but who knows what
3:53
I'm going to be when I'm 86 years old
3:56
now first it's unclear what polling
3:57
President Biden was pointing there his
4:00
argument that he could have won in
4:01
November as most of the polls around the
4:02
time he dropped out showed a very close
4:05
race or potentially Trump as a slight
4:07
leader in this that race but also this
4:09
is really the first time that we are
4:11
really hearing Biden speak bluntly about
4:13
the limitations of hits age it comes as
4:17
many Democrats many American people had
4:19
serious questions about President
4:21
Biden's ability to serve in a second
4:23
term poing even showed that before he
4:25
made the decision to run up in 2020 and
4:28
it comes at a time when there's also
4:30
been a lot of democratic uh finger
4:31
pointing blaming in part President
4:33
Biden's decision to even run in the
4:36
first place for why president Trump was
4:38
reelected this November can you tell us
4:41
who he would give those preemptive you
4:44
know pardons to
4:50
