0:29
helps us out guys you've seen me on this
0:32
show million times poke fun at Mitch
0:36
McConnell and you know he's so old and
0:39
he's older than water he's older than
0:40
dirt you know and he is he's an old man
0:44
and he should have retired long ago
0:47
there's a problem with that however if
0:49
he were to retire now his governor in
0:52
his state is a Democrat and they would
0:55
replace him with a Democrat and it would
0:56
hurt us in the Senate thing is is that
0:59
Mitch MC is not well now I have again
1:02
teased Mitch McConnell on the show but
1:03
I've also praised Mitch McConnell on
1:05
this show it is because of him that we
1:08
have so many appointments in the Supreme
1:10
Court it is because of him that we have
1:13
so many judicial appointments he is a
1:16
master of the Senate he has set the rep
1:19
Republican party and conservatives up
1:21
for success in a massive way he may be
1:24
the most
1:25
consequential Republican or any Senate
1:28
majority leader in the history of our
1:31
nation the whole nation and I say that
1:35
being completely
1:36
honest he makes votes that I'm not crazy
1:39
about sometimes he goes against Trump
1:42
which I'm not crazy about sometimes but
1:43
his impact on the country and the
1:46
Republican party for the better is
1:50
immeasurable that being said he fell not
1:53
once but twice
1:55
yesterday he's now in a wheelchair
1:57
that's the update he's now in a
1:59
wheelchair
2:00
being wheeled around the capital and
2:01
he's still saying he won't leave and I
2:04
admire his gumption I admire his
2:07
strength I admire his
2:09
determination but to the people around
2:12
him even if it meant we have to get a
2:14
Democrat senator from that state and I I
2:16
will guess to you right now that that's
2:18
why Mitch McConnell's hanging on and not
2:20
retiring because he's such a
2:23
republican that he doesn't want to step
2:26
down and have a Democrat Governor
2:28
appoint a Democrat successor for him
2:31
that's Mitch McConnell he he's not going
2:33
to do that you you'd have to drag him
2:35
out of there screaming he's not going to
2:36
do that and
2:39
so yeah that's the problem now but I
2:42
worry about his health I would like him
2:44
to spend time with his
2:46
family and and not he doesn't need the
2:48
stress of this every day at his age just
2:51
doesn't need the stress of it anymore
2:53
being pushed around in a wheelchair for
2:56
the guy that was a real lion in the
2:58
Senate
3:00
shouldn't be the way it ends I want you
3:02
to watch this video from their local
3:03
news and let me know what you think in
3:05
the comments take over of the Gaza Strip
3:07
and that Gaza would be quote turned over
3:09
to the United States at the end of the
3:11
fighting end quote he also said he would
3:13
develop Gaza creating thousands and
3:15
thousands of jobs Senator Mitch
3:18
McConnell left the majority leader
3:20
office in a wheelchair after falling two
3:22
times on Wednesday the initial fall
3:23
happening when McConnell went down the
3:25
stairs after leaving the Senate chamber
3:27
he ended up missing a step then after
3:30
being helped up he went on to a
3:31
republican policy lunch where he fell
3:33
again two Republican Senators described
3:36
that fall as a bad one the spoke
3:39
spokesperson said that the lingering
3:40
effects of polio are to blame but the
3:43
Republican from Kentucky is fine and
3:45
going to continue to work
