hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine
0:01
Sabia for explain America and the man in
0:04
line to be the next FBI director cash
0:07
Patel he just learned his fate from the
0:11
Senate before we get started please make

0:34
cash Patel was never going to have an
0:37
easy
0:38
Road the Deep State doesn't really like
0:41
people investigating them and they like
0:43
people they can control they like people
0:46
who they have dirt on who have done
0:49
nefarious things who have worked their
0:51
way through the same political system
0:53
using the same political backstabbing
0:55
techniques that they did so that they
0:57
have something to hold over their head
0:58
to stop them
1:01
from doing the actual investigative work
1:03
they're supposed to do to put a stop to
1:05
all the corruption Cashel doesn't have
1:07
those issues they can't control him
1:11
that's a problem for them and so what
1:14
has happened here is that Mr
1:17
Patel well his confirmation just got
1:20
delayed the Democrats are putting up
1:23
every roadblock they can and they are
1:27
and so it looks like Patel's vote won't
1:29
be till next week
1:31
but but there is good
1:34
news the good news is that it appears Mr
1:37
Patel has the votes to be confirmed so
1:40
this one week delay I don't know if
1:42
you're the Democrats the guy's going to
1:44
become the FBI director do you really
1:46
want to piss him
1:48
off Not A wise choice I want you to
1:51
watch this video about it and let me
1:53
know what you think in the
1:55
comments happening now on Capitol Hill
1:58
the path to cash tell's nomination as
2:00
FBI director is front and center as a
2:03
key committee is about to meet on his
2:05
fate CNN's Monty Raju is on Capital Hill
2:07
so Manu what more are you hearing from
2:09
Senators about Patel's
2:12
future yeah we just talked to the Senate
2:14
Democratic top Democrat on this
2:16
committee dick deran who indicated what
2:17
he plans to the Democrats plan to do
2:19
here which is to delay this vote by a
2:21
week in the Senate Judiciary Committee
2:23
they have the power underneath the rules
2:25
on this committee to delay it by week
2:27
and that's precisely what he what he
2:29
plans to do General Lindsey Graham the
2:30
chair the one of the top members of the
2:32
committee walking into this room just
2:34
now so that will be delayed by a week
2:36
but uh we do ultimately expect him to
2:38
get the votes to be approved by the
2:40
committee sent to the floor of the
2:42
United States Senate the Republicans
2:43
right now very confident that their
2:44
members will be in line get like forcing
2:47
him ultimately to get the job maybe in a
2:49
couple of weeks time now one of the big
2:50
questions he's going to confront cash
2:51
Matel assuming he is confirmed is how to
2:54
deal with these FBI agents who have been
2:56
singled out because of their work on the
2:57
January 6 investigations we know the
2:59
Trump team has come out to try to find
3:01
those specific people who've been
3:02
working on those cases the chairman of
3:04
this committee Chuck Grassley told me
3:06
that he wants to cash pel to explain to
3:08
him exactly the roles of these of
3:11
exactly more details about this effort
3:14
to single out those
3:16
agents only from this
3:19
standpoint that lower level
3:22
people uh have to do what the boss says
3:26
so I think when Patel gets approved and
3:29
I'm not going to do much until that I'm
3:32
going to try to get some
3:35
delineation of those that make decisions
3:38
versus those that don't this is
3:40
outrageous I mean these men and women
3:42
were called on uh to uh investigate a
3:45
serious problem a serious incident in
3:49
the United States capital building and
3:51
now simply because they did their jobs
3:53
they're being terminated that's not
3:57
fair but first cas has to get the votes
4:00
to get the job in the moment no
4:02
Republicans have voiced any opposition
