It really helps us out. Kamala Harris is imploding. Her polls are imploding and she's imploding. And the reason for that is she's an empty pantsuit, a robot, a puppet on a string. This is a woman to me that's devoid of any kind of sense or any kind of ideas that could change or benefit the country. This is a woman who's in this strictly for power. And it's starting to show her insincerity is starting to show. And the American voter, the American people, they can see that. They're not stupid
0:57
They want you to be stupid. They want to believe you're stupid
1:02
But you're not. We're not. We understand what we see before us
1:06
Somebody whose only goal in life is to attain power And who doesn know what to do with it if she gets it God help us if she gets it
1:17
And that's why you have to vote. Vote early. If you have to, I always say, you know what, vote early
1:22
They're doing it, we do it. Get those votes in. Get them in before election day
1:27
I want you to watch this report, though, because her campaign is panicking because of this implosion
1:33
her messing up on these interviews, her poll numbers tumbling, and they're worried
1:39
They're seeing flashbacks to 2016. Watch this report, and let me know what you think in the comments
1:45
The Tuesday in New York City, she started her media blitz on the View, sat for a wide-ranging interview with Howard Stern
1:53
and ended her day on the late show with Stephen Colbert, where the two cracked some jokes and a beer
2:00
The last time I had beer was at. a baseball game with Doug
2:05
So, okay, cheers. There you go. Ooh. Ooh. Yep
2:16
Well that is happening We have some new CNN reporting today about what is going on behind the scenes inside the Harris campaign and more broadly among Democrats who are growing more and more anxious
2:28
about a 2016 redux. CNN's Priscilla Alvarez joins me now. Priscilla, we were just joking
2:34
here at the table that anxious Democrats happen on a day that ends in why. But this is
2:41
something that perhaps is warranted given the data that they're seeing. Explain your great
2:47
reporting. Yeah, look, that's exactly right, Dana. And this has been a campaign that was described by
2:53
multiple Democrats, allies, aides to the vice president as a good vibes campaign. But what's also
2:59
creeping in now is that anxiety. The reason for that is because these polls are not really moving
3:06
Despite multiple battleground blitzes, despite the opportunities she has had across media outlets
3:13
there is still not a lot of movement from voters who are moving more towards her versus former president Donald Trump
3:21
In fact, I had one source describe it to me this way. Quote, people are nervous
3:25
They know the polls are tight. And a lot of us are having these flashbacks to 2016 too We know when it can go the wrong way and it can still feel fresh So 2016 is the key here When I talked to Harris campaign officials it often comes up in conversation Where
3:42
did Hillary Clinton have her pitfalls? And where can they make up that ground and build on what
3:47
Joe Biden did in 2020? One of those to give you an example is those red and rural districts
3:53
Look at, for example, Cambria County and Pennsylvania. Now, former president Donald Trump won in that
3:58
county, but the former president Biden was able to gain some ground there more than Hillary
4:04
Clinton had in 2016. The vice president has already visited twice. And so that is the type of
4:09
strategy that they're trying to deploy to try to make up that ground where they saw Hillary
4:14
Clinton wasn't able to in 2016. Then too, there's the mobilizing. Talk to Democrats, they're always
4:20
pretty boastful about their ground game. And they continue to be so, but that needs to turn into
4:24
vote. So certainly some anxiety and nerves setting in as election day gets closer and those polls
4:30
just remain deadlocked. Really important reporting. I encourage everybody to check it out on
4:35
CNN.com. Thank you so much
