imagination before we get started please

0:29
helps us out and I also lied to you it's
0:32
not a link you can't click on it you
0:33
have to type it in that being said guys
0:36
Matt Gates is not done you didn't think
0:38
he was done did you he's not done look
0:42
he's not going to be the Attorney
0:43
General I could have told you that the
0:45
day Trump picked him in fact I told
0:48
everybody I knew that I couldn't say it
0:50
you know online nobody wanted to hear it
0:53
um and I didn't want people to think I
0:54
was anti mat Gates or anti- Maga or
0:57
anti-trump and sometimes when you say it
0:59
online you can't really Express Yourself
1:01
properly I regret that actually I regret
1:04
not saying it then cuz I should have
1:05
said it then it's not that I don't think
1:07
he'd make a great attorney general it's
1:10
that well a he doesn't have the
1:12
experience of being an attorney general
1:13
anywhere so I don't really like on the
1:16
job training for a job that important
1:18
but that being said I knew there was no
1:20
way no way he was going to get confirmed
1:22
because he has attacked Republican
1:24
Senators as well as Democrat Senators
1:26
he's made a lot of enemies in Washington
1:28
DC now now what I will tell you is in
1:31
this interview here he does give hints
1:34
and clues about what his next career
1:36
move is now a lot of speculation is well
1:39
he was elected to the next Congress he
1:41
resigned from this Congress he can get
1:43
sworn in again on in January he could
1:47
but the ethics investigation would come
1:48
out it would be a total attack on his
1:51
character and they would probably
1:54
destroy his future career no no I think
1:56
what he has planned is something
1:58
different and he doesn't say it
1:59
explicitly here I want you to listen for
2:00
the clues in this interview I want you
2:03
to listen for the clues because they're
2:05
there and it's what I've been saying
2:07
since the day he stepped aside I'm going
2:10
to put it on the record now because I
2:11
regret not putting the first thing on
2:12
the record I believe he'll be given a
2:15
position in the Trump Administration
2:16
that does not require Senate approval an
2:20
appointed position by the president that
2:22
does not require Senate approval now
2:24
what that position is I don't
2:25
know but I believe he'll be working in
2:28
the Trump White House I believe that
2:29
firm
2:30
I want you to listen to this interview
2:32
and tell me in the comments do you think
2:34
I'm right and also what do you think
2:37
that position would be so again watch
2:39
this interview and let me know what you
2:40
think in the
2:41
comments so so Matt I now have to ask
2:44
about just what your plans are and it's
2:47
okay if you have to you know um punt on
2:50
it because you might not know it's
2:52
important to know you resigned from this
2:54
congress not the next Congress our
2:57
audience is 100% behind Matt Gates By
2:59
the way they are very very upset that
3:01
you were not be you know able to get all
3:03
the way to attorney general I have to
3:05
ask what what is next for Matt Gates
3:09
yeah I'm still G to be in the fight but
3:10
it's going to be from a new perch I do
3:12
not intend to join the 119th Congress
3:15
there are number of fantastic Floridians
3:17
who've stepped up to run for my seat
3:20
people who have inspired with their
3:22
heroism with their public service and
3:25
I'm actually excited to to see uh
3:27
Northwest Florida go to new heights and
3:29
and have great representation Charlie
3:31
I've been in an elected office for 14
3:33
years I first got elected to the state
3:35
house when I was 26 years old and uh I'm
3:38
42 now and I've got some other goals in
3:41
life that I'm eager to pursue with my
3:43
wife and my family and so I'm I'm gonna
3:45
be fighting for president Trump I'm
3:47
gonna be doing whatever he asks of me as
3:50
I always have but I think that eight
3:53
years is probably enough time in the
3:55
United States Congress you know in
3:57
Florida our voters got to vote on term
4:00
for state government and that the
4:02
campaign was Eight is Enough and so you
4:04
can only do eight years in the Florida
4:07
House of Representatives and so it seems
4:09
like a a pretty poetic time to allow
4:12
that great new blood to come in to allow
4:15
my district to have high quality
4:17
representation and don't worry I'm not
4:19
going anywhere I'm not taking off for
4:22
like you know a tropical Excursion for
4:25
the rest of my life I am here to help
4:27
save this country and one thing you know
4:29
great Patriots at Turning Point know we
4:31
need people at every level we need
4:33
brilliant lawyers on the outside we need
4:35
tough congressmen and congresswomen on
4:37
the inside we need a a a leadership
4:40
structure under President Trump that's
4:42
going to allow for durability of our
4:44
movement and and the ability to continue
4:47
this great realignment of our politics
4:49
and so I'll play a part in that I plan
4:51
to be a big voice but maybe not as as an
4:54
elected member of the government
