Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and Fannie Willis
0:06
She just got lit up like a Christmas tree, folks. And it could mean trouble for her
0:12
Big time trouble. Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share and subscribe

Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow
0:21
Fannie Willis' political witch hunt into former President Donald Trump, as it's been called
0:26
by the House Judiciary Committee, has caught the attention of said House Judiciary Committee
0:32
that's led by Republicans, particularly led by Republican Ohio Representative Jim Jordan
0:38
Now Jordan sent a letter to Willis on behalf of the House Judiciary Committee in which
0:43
he demanded answers to a lot of questions. He wanted to know all of the things that went into this investigation
0:51
He wants to see files, he wants to see transcripts, he wants to see phone records
0:55
He wants to know if Fannie Willis met with Special Counsel Jack Smith
1:00
Did they coordinate anything? She wants to know if she met with anybody else from the executive branch
1:05
And you know, these things are important to know because if she did, well then that could
1:11
corrupt the case. If the federal government was involved in any way in a local prosecution in Georgia
1:18
it absolutely could corrupt this case and could put Fannie Willis on the hot seat and
1:22
in danger of losing her job. Now, as you may know, Fannie Willis is already in a lot of trouble because in Georgia they've
1:30
already started the process of trying to impeach her. But that was kind of thwarted by Republican Governor Brian Kemp, who is a massive anti-Trumper
1:39
However, the Senate wasn't done then. One of the senators, the state senators in Georgia, he's proposed that when their Judiciary
1:49
Committee, I don't know what the exact name of it is, but they have a Judiciary Committee
1:53
there that looks at this kind of stuff, comes back into session in October, they may move
1:58
to actually remove her as a prosecutor. They have that authority. So there's a committee in Georgia that gets together and they decide if a prosecutor is
2:07
correctly doing their job or not. And if the prosecutor is not correctly doing their job, they can absolutely be removed
2:14
from the position. And one of the ways they could say you're not doing your job is if you've politicized it
2:21
So she's got that front. And then on the other front, she's got Jim Jordan coming after her with the House Judiciary Committee
2:27
And if they could find evidence that links the executive branch, that links Jack Smith
2:32
that links anybody in the Biden administration to this investigation, then it's going to
2:37
be a bad, bad time for Fannie Willis because the Judiciary Committee absolutely has the
2:42
authority to do this. So what her answers are to these questions or how long she ducks and dodges answering
2:48
these questions, well, that's going to be a main bone of contention for Jim Jordan and
2:52
the Republicans. And if they find anything, that can certainly be handed over to the Senate in Georgia who
2:59
may look to remove her. Again, Fannie Willis may have bitten off more than she could chew here by going against
3:05
former President Trump. I want to know what you guys think about this story
3:09
Do you think this is a political witch hunt? Do you think that Trump deserves to be indicted
3:13
Do you think that Fannie Willis is going to be removed from her position? Let me know in the comments
3:18
Also please like, share, and subscribe because again, that really helps us out
