Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and Vice President Kamala Harris has finally broken her silence
0:08
Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share and subscribe
0:12
Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow
0:17
And if you think the Joe Biden Harris ticket has been a nightmare for the past three and a half years like we do
0:24
smash that join button and become a member of this channel. Kamala Harris has to be, in my opinion, the one they go to if they get rid of Joe Biden
0:36
She has to be the one they tap as the nominee. And the reason I believe that is, number one, she's a black woman
0:45
And when you're a party that bases everything on inclusion and DEI and all that, you can have a tough time selling to black people and to women
0:54
why you skipped the black woman in favor of somebody else. The second reason is she's the vice president
1:01
She's been a heartbeat away from the presidency for three and a half years. How do you go and tell the American people, yeah, she was good enough for that, but she's not good enough to be the actual president
1:11
Now, I don't think Kamala Harris can defeat Trump. This is a woman who, when she ran for president, when she was a Democrat contender trying to get the nomination from Joe Biden, she didn't get one delegate, not one delegate
1:25
So I can't see her making any kind of impact. I think she would get grinded up to shreds by Trump
1:31
And I think that's what the Democrat Party is concerned about. That being said, she was asked point blank, are you going to be the nominee
1:40
And her answer, it wasn't no. Let's put it that way. It was not no
1:46
And that leads me to believe that there is room there for her to become the nominee
1:51
Now, by the time you have seen this video, she will have probably had lunch with Joe Biden today
1:57
And what was talked about there? Who knows? We're going to find out, I'm certain, in the coming days
2:03
And even on the Fourth of July, we're going to be here with videos for you guys about what's going on with the latest news
2:09
So keep it tuned here. But I want you to watch what Kamala Harris says here. Then let me know in the comments what you think about it
2:16
How they're talking about this race tonight. Let us not make a judgment about a presidency on one one debate
2:27
I think it's a legitimate question to say, is this an episode or is this a condition
2:34
Stay the course. Chill out. Chill out. This party should not in any way do anything to work around Ms
2:45
Harris. We should do everything we can to bolster her, whether it's in second place or at the top of the ticket
2:54
Of course, the Harris that Clyburn is referencing there would be the vice president, Kamala Harris, a vice president that I should note, the White House press secretary could not even say today whether or not Biden has spoken to her since the debate last Thursday, five days ago
3:08
For her part, Harris had this to say tonight. Look, Joe Biden is our nominee
3:15
We beat Trump once and we're going to beat him again. Period. Are you ready to lead the country if necessary
3:20
I am proud to be Joe Biden's running mate. Tomorrow, President Biden will come face to face with some of his biggest surrogates in the nation, Democratic governors
3:30
Many of them have been out on the airwaves. Several of them, including my next guest here tonight, are being discussed, though, openly as potential replacements on the ticket
3:39
If I should put the emphasis on if it comes to that
3:46
And joining me now is Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, who is a member of President Biden and his campaign's National Advisory Board
3:53
And Governor, it's great to have you here on the source when it comes to this. Have you personally heard from from President Biden since the debate last Thursday night
