0:34
out former president and next president
0:37
president-elect Donald Trump he gave a
0:39
wide- ranging interview to Christen
0:41
Welker today on the NBC Today Show and
0:45
I'm did I just say that Meet the Press
0:47
he was on Meet the Press and but they
0:50
showed Clips on the Today's Show which
0:51
is why I'm thinking of that he was on
0:53
Meet the Press and he talked to Christen
0:56
Welker about this and he talked her
0:58
about like a bunch of topics but one of
0:59
the topic ICS was Liz Cheney Adam Schiff
1:02
Adam kiner the January 6
1:05
committee and he said he believes that
1:07
these people have committed crimes and
1:10
that they should go to jail that they're
1:11
deserving of jail
1:15
now I don't know what crimes they
1:17
committed you know other than than
1:19
oversight which is not a crime but he
1:22
may be privy to information that I'm not
1:24
I I understand there were some
1:25
Shenanigans behind the scenes that there
1:27
was evidence suppressed that actually
1:30
would have exonerated Trump and they
1:32
just left that out I've heard all these
1:34
rumors now if that turns out to be true
1:35
those are crimes and what he's saying in
1:39
this interview is I'm not going to send
1:42
the Department of Justice and Pam Bondi
1:44
after him I'm not going to send cash
1:46
Patel and the FBI after him what I'm
1:47
going to do is I'm going to sit back and
1:50
let these people run their own agencies
1:52
like they're supposed to like it's
1:54
supposed to be right so Trump actually
1:57
like I said in this interview said you
1:58
know he's not going to do that but
2:00
Welker wasn't really buying it so much
2:02
but he gave a great explanation I want
2:04
you to listen to the president elect and
2:06
let me know what you think in the
2:08
comments he's been tapped to LEAP you
2:11
named Cash Patel to be the next FBI
2:13
director he has a list in his book of 60
2:17
people that he calls members of the
2:18
so-called deep state it includes
2:19
Democrats like Joe Biden and Hillary
2:22
Clinton it includes former members of
2:24
your cabinet from Bill bar to
2:25
Christopher Ray you campaigned on
2:28
destroying the Deep state do you want
2:30
cash Patel to launch investigations into
2:32
people on that list no I mean he's going
2:34
to do what he thinks is right do that's
2:37
right do you think that's right sir um
2:41
if they think that somebody was
2:42
dishonest or crooked or corrupt
2:44
politician I think he probably has an
2:46
obligation to do it but are you going to
2:48
direct him to do it no not at all not at
2:51
all we have two great people there we
2:52
have him and we have Pam and Pam Bondi
2:55
has been like a rocket ship she's very
2:58
popular and very good and very fair
3:00
and cash patella is very fair I'll tell
3:02
you I thought cash may be difficult
3:05
because he's you know a strong
3:07
conservative voice and I don't know of
3:10
anybody that's not singing his praises
3:12
the other day I was watching and Trey
3:14
gouty who's a moderate person and very
3:16
smart and very respected in the party
3:19
he's Cash's biggest fan he said this is
3:22
the most misunderstood man in politics
3:25
he's great I guess they work together on
3:27
the Russia hoax or something and
3:30
Trey gouty became a fan Trey you know
3:32
Trey gouty everybody respects him and
3:35
you know just like him others also I
3:38
don't know if one negative vote I don't
3:40
think he's going to have any negative
3:41
votes is it your expectation though that
3:43
cash Patel will pursue investigations
3:45
against your political enemies no I
3:48
don't think so do you want to see that
3:50
happen uh if they were crooked if they
3:52
did something wrong if they uh have
3:54
broken the law probably they went after
3:56
me you know they went after me and I did
3:58
nothing wrong well let me ask you this
3:59
you said President Biden uh quote that
4:03
you're going to appoint a real special
4:04
prosecutor to go after Joe Biden you
4:06
said that did I say that the campaign
4:08
where you said that on Truth social June
4:10
12th 2023 I will appoint a real special
4:13
prosecutor to go after the most corrupt
4:14
president in the history of the United
4:16
States Joe Biden and the entire bid
4:18
crime family are you going to do that
4:20
are you going to go after Joe Biden I'm
4:23
really looking to make our country
4:24
successful I'm not looking to go back
4:26
into the past I'm looking to make our
4:28
country successful
4:30
uh retribution will be through success
4:33
if we can make our success this country
4:36
successful that would be my greatest
4:38
that would be such a great achievement
4:40
bring it back we have a country now
4:42
that's overridden with crime that has
4:45
millions of people that shouldn't
