hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine
0:01

0:03
president-elect Donald Trump had an
0:06
emotional message for the future of this

0:36
out guys the president-elect sat down
0:39
for a wide- ranging interview with Meet
0:42
the Press and Kristen Welker probably
0:44
not an interview I would have done
0:46
considering the way they treated him at
0:47
the debate but he did it because that's
0:50
how he is he's a magnanimous type of guy
0:52
he's a very forgiving type of guy and to
0:55
that
0:55
end Welker hit him with what I thought
0:58
was a tough question for anybody to
1:00
answer it's a question you're going to
1:02
be asked as a new president I'm every
1:05
president is asked some form of this
1:07
question by some
1:09
reporter and it's a tough one and what
1:12
he said was what's your message to the
1:14
people who didn't vote for you and I
1:16
found that his answer was above and
1:20
beyond what I usually hear from a
1:21
politician you know I'll be a president
1:23
for all people and whatever the caned
1:25
response is but he he went further he
1:27
said I love you to them I love you and
1:32
he said that he would go out of his way
1:34
basically look you're all going to enjoy
1:36
the benefits of what we're going to do
1:38
for this country and I want you to enjoy
1:40
it I'm I'm going to be a president for
1:42
everybody it's a but he went beyond that
1:44
with the I love you which I thought was
1:45
great because I think he does love you
1:46
he does love this country why else would
1:49
he give up his glamorous lifestyle to do
1:51
this I want you to watch what he says
1:53
here and then let me know what you think
1:55
in the comments I want to ask you sir
1:58
one final question what do you want to
2:01
say to Americans who didn't support you
2:04
in this campaign uh I'm going to treat
2:06
you everybody as well as I have treated
2:09
the greatest Maga supporters there's
2:11
never been anything like Maga in the
2:13
history of this country uh these people
2:15
are so dedicated to making America great
2:17
again it's very simple and I'm going to
2:19
treat them just the same as I treat Mega
2:22
we're going to treat everybody good we
2:23
want success for our country we want
2:25
safety for our country you know our
2:26
country is under threat as you know
2:30
um we have a tremendous threat
2:33
militarily because of the power of
2:34
weapons and weaponry is tremendous
2:36
threat nobody talks about it but it's
2:38
tremendous threat uh I want to treat
2:40
everybody the same I want to treat them
2:42
well and at the end of this four years I
2:44
have a big head start because I was
2:46
there for four years fairly recently a
2:49
lot of bad things were done during the
2:50
four years that I wasn't there and
2:52
mostly in what they've done in terms of
2:54
our reputation
2:57
overseas our reputation
3:00
is so bad so shot I got to bring it back
3:05
and I also have to I have to bring back
3:07
civilization to our country our country
3:09
is a crime Po and we have to get rid of
3:12
crime we have so many things to do we
3:14
have to do the prices we have to do all
3:15
of that but we have to get the criminals
3:17
out of our country we have to bring down
3:19
crime people have to be able to walk
3:21
across the street and buy a loaf of
3:22
bread without being shot and that's
3:25
going to happen but what I say to them
3:27
is I love you and we're gonna all work
3:30
together and we're going to bring it
3:31
together and you know what's going to
3:32
bring it together success I saw that PRI
3:36
just prior to co coming in I had polls
3:39
that were the highest anyone mlin and
3:41
Fabrizio said George Washington and
3:44
Abraham Lincoln if they came back from
3:46
the dead and they ran as President and
3:48
Vice President it couldn't beat you sir
3:50
we were doing so well and I was getting
3:53
along with the left let's call it the
3:55
left will be nice okay we're just going
3:56
to call it but I was getting along with
3:58
people that you would consider liberal
4:00
or Progressive as they like to say at
4:03
levels that I never thought was possible
4:05
and you know what it was success success
4:07
was bringing the country together and
4:09
that's what I want to do
