0:34
out Democrat minority leader in the
0:37
house hake representative hakee Jeff he
0:40
did the Sunday talk show circuit today
0:42
and one of the questions he was asked by
0:44
Jonathan Carl of all
0:47
people was it wasn't just a question it
0:50
was it was it
0:52
was facts facts followed by a question I
0:56
had trouble saying that but he gave him
0:57
these facts followed by a question the
0:59
facts showed the
1:01
polls really show a ground swell of
1:03
support for not only Trump but what
1:06
president Trump is doing the Trump
1:08
agenda the Mandate all the things like
1:11
Doge and and cutting out government
1:13
waste and deporting illegal aliens and
1:15
making girl sports for girls only all
1:17
these
1:18
things they have super support from the
1:21
American people and now you have the
1:23
Democrats that are taking Trump to court
1:26
on basically all of it and what Carl is
1:29
saying is are you guys missing the boat
1:31
you know are you guys missing the boat
1:33
here are you guys not reading the room
1:37
is this what you're going to stand on
1:38
being against things the American people
1:40
want interestingly hakee jeffre started
1:44
his response by saying well well it's
1:45
early
1:46
yet okay but you're trying to stop the
1:49
popular things I don't care how early it
1:51
is you're trying to stop what the
1:52
American people want you're actively
1:54
working against the interests of the
1:57
American
1:58
voters I think he looked absolutely
2:00
ridiculous and it is fantastic news for
2:03
Trump I would love for you to look at
2:04
this video let me know what you think in
2:07
the comments but Donald Trump's
2:10
favorability rating is actually higher
2:12
than it ever was the first time around
2:14
let me ask you I I a recent poll by
2:17
Marquette looked at several of the
2:19
things that he has done or says that he
2:20
is going to do and 63% favor uh Federal
2:24
government's recognition of only two
2:26
Sexes a 60% favor deporting immigrants
2:30
who entered the United States illegally
2:32
60% favor expanding oil and gas Pro uh
2:35
production 59% favor declaring an
2:39
emergency at the southern border is
2:41
there anything you are seeing that that
2:43
that Trump is doing uh that you uh are
2:45
in favor of do you think is the right
2:49
thing let me say as it relates uh to all
2:53
of those issues we're just at the
2:55
beginning and the core promise uh that
2:57
Donald Trump made is that he's going to
2:59
lower
3:00
costs for everyday Americans in fact we
3:03
were told that grocery prices would go
3:06
down on day one on January 20th costs
3:10
aren't lower in fact costs are
3:12
increasing the price of eggs is
3:13
skyrocketing out of control inflation is
3:16
on the way up that was the core promise
3:18
that's been broken with respect to
3:21
immigration listen we have to secure the
3:23
Border we have a broken immigration
3:25
system and we need to fix it in a
3:27
comprehensive and bipartisan way
