0:02

0:04

0:07
CNN before we get started please make

0:30
guys this was absolutely crazy to tell
0:35
you that people on the liberal side of
0:38
the aisle are unhinged right now because
0:40
of the victory of president-elect Donald
0:42
Trump I love saying that
0:46
they it's psychotic so if you don't know
0:49
shermichael he is he is a shermichael
0:53
Johnson he is a a a prot trump uh
0:57
conservative who often appears on CNN I
1:00
I see him almost every day pretty much
1:03
every day yeah especially on the
1:05
weekdays uh him and Scott Jennings great
1:07
voices over there on CNN for our
1:10
team well shich is a black man okay so
1:15
he's debating this other liberal black
1:17
guy who I don't know who this
1:19
is and so the liberal black man
1:23
accuses sh Michel of
1:28
anti-blackness arious yes he's against
1:32
himself he hates
1:34
himself because these liberals they
1:36
cannot fathom people that don't think
1:39
like they think they can't fathom it
1:40
they cannot believe we
1:42
exist because they think they're so
1:45
smart and if you don't agree with them
1:47
you must be an
1:48
idiot or in this case racist against
1:51
your own
1:53
race sh Michael's response as always was
1:56
classy because he's not going to yell
1:57
and scream that's not who he is he's a
2:00
classy
2:00
dude but you could see the the look of
2:04
like are you serious on this on his face
2:07
you know he he could have verbally
2:08
smacked him down and he did but he did
2:10
it in a kind way because that's how he
2:12
is that's how conservatives behave
2:14
themselves liberals they get unhinged so
2:18
bad that the CNN anchor had a cut to
2:21
break cut right to commercial I want you
2:23
guys to watch this and let me know what
2:25
you think in the
2:26
comments how do you think they should go
2:28
about that or what do you think the
2:30
parameters might be look I do I guess
2:31
question what the systematic approach
2:33
would be um this is an interesting topic
2:36
to me in 1988 vice president Harris's
2:38
father uh who's an economist renowned
2:40
Economist taught at Stanford for a
2:42
number of years wrote a very interesting
2:44
treaties talking about immigration at
2:46
the time and how an influx of illegal
2:49
immigration creates competition for
2:51
lower skilled Americans and I thought
2:53
that was fascinating so if that's the
2:55
the premise of the argument from the
2:57
Trump uh Administration or the income
2:59
admin I certainly understand it uh and
3:02
so the question for me becomes if you're
3:03
going to remove criminals I think most
3:05
Americans would say yeah that makes
3:07
perfect sense uh in terms of people who
3:09
are actively working in the country what
3:12
is the approach for them to become
3:14
legalized citizens what does that look
3:15
like how much time does it take is there
3:17
a fee or a fine associated with them
3:19
coming into the country illegally and
3:20
having stay for so much time I think
3:22
most Americans would say well that's an
3:24
approach that seems logical I can
3:26
understand it it's systematic it makes a
3:27
lot of sense you're not harming people
3:28
or ripping people AC Cross or families
3:31
apart so that's how I would personally
3:33
want to approach this John remove
3:35
criminals in terms of other individuals
3:37
that are contribute into our society
3:39
have a systematic approach for them to
3:40
gain a citizenship what about the
3:42
dreamers yeah and the dreamers I would
3:44
put them in that hold hold on Michael
3:46
I'm not done yet just give me a second I
3:48
would also put dreamers in that same
3:49
category you need to allow people to
3:52
have an approach to be to earn their
3:53
citizenship and again people who came in
3:55
Legally but are contributing there
3:57
should be some type of a fine Associated
3:58
President Obama talked about in the past
4:00
Hillary Clinton talked about that in the
4:01
past I think you can see bipartisanship
4:03
agreement on that point U Michael we we
4:05
really have 15 seconds left cuz we got
4:06
to go but go
4:08
ahead the antiblackness that just
4:11
happened in Sher Michael's comments is
4:12
very concerning the the reference he
4:14
just utilized is the vice president's
4:17
father when talking about a policy on
4:20
illegal immigrants let's be very clear
4:23
there is one entity that's been pushing
4:25
this and this is Donald Trump and that
4:26
is why Democrats have to counter that
4:28
every step well Michael John I mean most
4:30
Americans are worried about immigration
4:32
I didn't use an anti-black policy
4:33
Michael you're not talking to Donald
4:35
Trump John ask me my specific uh points
4:37
on this this is how I would address it I
4:39
think a lot of Democrats would also say
4:41
this is systematic one example from 1988
4:44
referencing the vice president I can
4:46
list a ly of examples Michael let's not
4:48
call BS this morning immigration is a
4:50
problem most Americans find it to be a
4:53
problem including many Democrats friends
4:55
we're going to we got to we got to end
4:56
this discussion here we will have it we
4:58
will have it over the next several
4:59
months and it very much seems the next
5:01
several years sh Michael singon Michael
5:03
