Top Democrat Berates Biden On National Television - Says Morality Is At Stake

gone on national television and slapped around Joe Biden and I gotta tell you I was shocked

So do you guys know Barbara Lee from California? I don't know if you remember her but she was the one representative, alone, by herself

all alone on an island, one representative that voted against going into Afghanistan

and having the Afghanistan war in 2001 after the September 11th attacks, after we knew

bin Laden was in Afghanistan. She was the one and only, from Democrats and Republicans, the one and only representative

to vote against that. But she is a Democrat stalwart, she's been in power for decades and she went on television

on Sunday and she absolutely berated Joe Biden over the idea of using cluster munitions

and sending cluster munitions to Ukraine. Let's take a look at what she said

So when Putin started using cluster bombs, the Biden White House said that that would

potentially be a war crime. Do you think that therefore the US government, the Biden administration, will potentially

be engaging in war crimes if this goes forward? What I think is that we would risk losing our moral leadership because when you look

at the fact that over 120 countries have signed the convention on cluster munitions saying

they should never be used, they should never be used. And in fact, many of us have urged the administration to sign on to this convention

And so I'm hoping that the administration would reconsider this because these are very

dangerous bombs, they're dangerous weapons, and this is a line that I don't believe we

should cross. No, I'm not going to get involved with who's right and who's wrong

Are the cluster munitions the right thing to do or they're not

That's not really my decision, but if it were me, no, I don't think it's the right decision personally

People that are in higher positions than I am get to decide that information, not me

But I do think it's telling that once upon a time, and it's not that long ago, Joe Biden

and this administration called Russia's use of cluster munitions a war crime

Well, if it's a war crime when Russia does it, how is it not a war crime when we do it

That's the kind of hypocrisy I think that we're talking about. And I got to give Barbara Lee credit, I don't give the representative much credit for anything

but I give her credit here for at least standing for her principles. Where's Ocasio-Cortez

Where is Rashida Tlaib? Where's Ayanna Pressley? You know the squad? They're so anti-war

Where are all these people in the Democrat Party that are anti-war? Where are they to speak out against this

The other day you had Jamal Bowman talking about, oh, we have to, you know, I support

this war between Ukraine and Russia. I support us helping them and this and that

And then they asked him where Crimea was and where was the Donbass region, if he knew what they were, and he didn't

You don't know two of the main areas that are being fought over between Ukraine and Russia

but you're for the war? You're for supplying help? You don't even know what you're talking about, and you're in a position of power in this government

That's frightening. That is frightening, and these are the decision makers. So I'm not going to opine too much on the war

It's a touchy subject. I would like your comments on what you think about Joe Biden and this administration's

hypocrisy though, and you can leave that in the comments. I'd love to read it
