Hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and we've just had chaos
0:07
in the Congress. Before we get started please make sure you like, comment, share and subscribe
0:14
Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow
0:19
You know the halls of Congress can be contentious, very contentious. Many years ago
0:24
I think it was 2007, that a member of Congress, a member of the Senate
0:29
said go F yourself to Vice President at the time Dick Cheney. So things can get heated in there
0:36
and you know, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I apologize, Dick Cheney said it to a member of the Senate
0:41
and you know it was, it's been a crazy place for a lot of years but over the course of the past few
0:49
years we've seen Republican on Republican verbal violence in the halls of Congress
0:57
There are two factions of the Republican Party. There's the Uniparty, I like to call them
1:03
that pretty much is the go-along to get-along gang. They will side with the Democrats if it
1:08
financially benefits them or they're, they think it's you know a benefit to the country
1:14
to go along with this ridiculous spending and ridiculous wars. Then there's the other part of
1:20
the Republican Party, the MAGA part, the part that says we're tired of wars, we're tired of
1:25
endless spending, we're tired of this woke ideology and we're going to fight back against it
1:31
Now in the Congress you have Representative McCaul who is part of that Uniparty clique. He's part of
1:38
that we don't like Trump, we don't want this MAGA agenda, we're you know we're with Dan Crenshaw
1:45
and Liz Cheney and we just want to be you know part of the team. And then there's the Daryl Issa
1:53
part that is totally MAGA, totally holding you know the institutions of power to account
2:01
Well yesterday they had a meeting, a meeting, a hearing with with General Miley
2:07
former General Miley and other members of the military to discuss the disastrous withdrawal
2:12
from Afghanistan that was done by President Joe Biden. Now present were Gold Star families
2:18
whose children were troops who were you know unfortunately and untimely, met their untimely
2:26
demise in a bombing at you know during the Afghanistan withdrawal. I have to be careful
2:32
the words I use here because certain words get flagged. Well during this exchange Daryl Issa
2:38
is grilling Miley and then his time runs out and he's you know befuddled by that, he didn't realize
2:43
his time was running out, he thought it was the closing part of the hearing. And then so once he
2:48
gives up his time for Miller, Representative Miller Meeks to talk, you can hear McCaul and
2:53
I've amplified the the voice you can hear him say go F yourself to Daryl Issa. Now later on he
3:00
admitted that that's what he said and to the you know talking to reporters he apologized for it and
3:05
called Issa his friend. But this just shows you the deep divisions in the Republican Party. I want
3:10
you to watch this video and then I want to know what you think about it. Please let me know in the
3:14
comments. As always please remember to like, comment, share and subscribe. I'm Carmine Sabia
3:20
for Explain America. We love you guys. God bless you. Take care everybody
3:25
And if you're going to do that and withdraw completely then I agree 100 percent with what
3:29
General McKenzie said earlier. You're going to have to withdraw quickly, fast, that includes your
3:33
State Department folks, or make a decision to stay. It's a binary choice there. There's not a lot of
3:39
gray in between and I think that if you decide to stay there's risks associated with that
3:45
and the likelihood that war again would start with the Taliban. And the Marines
3:52
confer with the Army in this case. Gentleman's time has expired. Ms. Milamich is recognized
3:57
Oh I didn't realize. Thank you. You've been keeping me five minutes. I thought it was done
4:01
I thought it was okay. I thought it was a closing act chairman. I'd like to thank Chairman McCaul
4:08
for the opportunity to wave on this hearing today and to our witnesses for testifying before the
4:12
committee and for the Gold Star families that are here. The reason I wanted to be here at this
4:16
hearing is that I'm a 24-year military veteran, Vietnam era veteran. My brother served in Vietnam
4:23
My husband is a 30-year Vietnam era veteran as well
