Hey, ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America
0:03
We got a bombastic Carrie Lake story coming right at you on the heels, or I
0:09
should say prior to an announcement by president Trump that many believe will
0:14
be that he is going to campaign for president of the United States in 2024
0:19
Now, as I make this video, we are a few hours away from that announcement and
0:23
we're a few hours past the Carrie Lake situation. We're going to get to both of those things because they are
0:29
interconnected right here, right now. But first please make sure you like you comment, you subscribe, you share this
0:37
you follow us on explain America on Facebook and check us out in the explain
0:42
America lounge, type it into your Facebook search bar, come join us in the group
0:46
We would love to chat with you. Okay. So we are probably moments away from this huge announcement from president
0:52
Donald Trump that he is going to campaign again in 2024. In the meantime, we are licking our wounds from what was, I would
1:00
say a dismal midterm election. We thought we were getting a red wave
1:05
We did not get a red wave. Many people are up in arms about Carrie Lake, who was running for
1:10
governor of Arizona as a Republican. Now her opponent, Katie Hobbs has been declared the winner by all
1:16
major media news organizations. But coming out of the Lake camp today, we have found out through Western
1:23
journal that she is not going to concede. She will not concede the election much like Stacey Abrams did not concede the
1:32
election when she lost in 2018. And there's more to the story because apparently there's still a path
1:40
for Carrie Lake to win this thing. She's claiming that there were irregularities that some people have
1:46
ballots left that have to be cured, which means there's mistakes on the ballot and you have time under the Arizona law till Wednesday to actually
1:55
go and fix your ballots if you've made mistakes. So if you're watching this from Arizona and you're not sure, please make
2:01
sure you check your ballot, make sure it was counted. If it's not, you have tomorrow to go ahead and correct that
2:09
In the meantime, the path for her to actually win the governorship is
2:14
Hobbs won by such a small margin. And it's worth noting that Hobbs is the one overseeing this election
2:21
That's her job as secretary of state, which is fine. Brian Kemp did the same thing in 2018, but under Arizona state law
2:31
Now, because it's so close, it's very likely that a recount is
2:35
going to be automatically triggered. Now, if that recount were to favor Carrie Lake, then Carrie Lake
2:41
is the next governor of Arizona. So it's not over yet, despite what the media is telling you, despite what
2:46
everybody's telling you about, this is a done deal it's in the realm of a
2:50
legal recount at this point. And because of that, nothing's over till it's over
2:55
And this is certainly not over yet. So I want you guys to be vigilant, especially if you're in Arizona
3:00
you got to check your ballots, make sure they were counted. You can do that online
3:04
Please make sure you check into that. In the meantime, by the time you've seen this video, you might've already
3:11
heard former president Donald Trump's announcement, but as I'm making it, which is around seven o'clock Eastern time on the 15th of November, we have
3:20
not yet heard what that announcement's going to be. We are waiting for it
3:24
And we will have all the details for you here on tomorrow's show
3:29
And of course on the explain America website. So stay tuned for all of that
3:34
So please, again, make sure you like you comment, you share, you subscribe
3:38
you follow us at explain America on Facebook. And again, in the search bar on Facebook, type in explain America lounge, come
3:46
find us, come chat with us. A lot of Trump fans in there. A lot of DeSantis fans in there
3:51

3:57
