Jack Smith's Case Against Trump Destroyed - Federal Judge Crushes Him

who is after former President Donald Trump in his federal case against him, just got

smacked down by a federal judge with an outrageous request that he made

Jack Smith went to court and he demanded the phone records of Republican Pennsylvania Representative

Scott Perry and the judge smacked him down. He said it was against the speech clause of the United States House of Representatives

He said that whatever Perry talked about in terms of certifying the election or an alternate

slate of electors or whatever he chose to talk about regarding the 2024 election that

was done in his position as a federal representative and it is covered by the speech and debate clause

Now this is a big victory for the Trump team and it's a big victory for justice

You can't just willy nilly go in and demand these things Jack Smith because you say you

deserve them. You don't deserve all of them. You have an ability to present a case

What you don't have an ability to do is usurp the law because you Jack Smith have deemed

it your duty to get Donald Trump. This entire case has been based and predicated on so much bending of the law to placate Jack

Smith and his team of federal goons who are out to get former President Donald Trump

It's been ridiculous and he's been smacked down in court actually a few times already

and deservedly so. Jack Smith you are also not above the law

You also have to act within the confines of the law and you have to obey precedent

Now there's been other things that have been going on with other Trump cases of course

and the federal case as we all know. Now Trump and his team believe that a lot of these cases are really really about stopping

him from campaigning in the Republican primary and in the general election as he is at this

point barring anything insane likely going to be the Republican nominee. Team Trump thinks that from Alvin Bragg to Fannie Willis to Jack Smith himself these

are all brought and the court dates are all set to coincide and they do seem to coincide

with major political events that the president should be involved in or the former president

should be involved in. Now he's trying to get the nomination from several other Republicans who are competing

against him poorly and he doesn't really have to do much campaigning in the primary

Let's face it this thing is pretty much a done deal. This ship has pretty much sailed right

But his complaint is that it's extending. It's going to extend into the general election

It's going to go beyond you know just the scope of the primaries and then if he has

to be appearing in court during election season that is a handicap to his campaign

for the presidency. I think it interferes and I think it goes against longstanding Department of Justice

protocol to not bring charges or interfere in the proceedings of an election

And that's something that Merrick Garland is going to have to answer for and it's something

Jack Smith's going to have to answer for and they should shut that investigation down or

the court cases down during the presidential election. That would be only fair

Donald Trump just like any other candidate deserves a fair chance to compete for the

presidency and if he if he's victorious then he's victorious and if he's not then he's

not and you go back to your cases if he's not. But that's how it should be done
