0:32
really helps us out Mel Gibson has been
0:35
one of the only Christian conservatives
0:39
in Hollywood who's willing to stand by
0:41
his principles who's willing to be an
0:44
unashamed unabashed Christian and
0:46
conservative and Trump supporter in a
0:50
town full of liberals and unsavory
0:54
people and watching his
0:57
video it was really tough
1:01
because the man lost his home in these
1:03
California wildfires he lost a lot of
1:07
things that he worked for his whole life
1:08
but what the beautiful part was his
1:12
attitude you know he was he was just
1:15
moving forward he's not going to wallow
1:17
in the misery and the
1:19
self-pity it's a it's a refreshing
1:21
change from a lot of people who you know
1:26
who who would who would really be
1:28
destroyed in such an event I
1:30
would probably be destroyed after
1:32
something like that mentally emotionally
1:33
I couldn't
1:34
imagine and I can't imagine what he's
1:37
dealing with it really is tragic and it
1:40
it's tragic for so many people out in
1:42
California right now and my thoughts and
1:45
my prayers are with them and and and
1:47
with Mr Gibson even though he's taken it
1:50
like a champ he just toured his house or
1:53
what used to be his house on national
1:56
television and again it was it was hard
1:59
to watch but that being said I think you
2:01
should watch it because it's a message
2:03
of Hope for the future so let's all pray
2:07
for Mr Gibson and please watch this
2:10
video and let me know what you think in
2:12
the comments uh but he we went we went
2:15
in the fir truck with him with the
2:16
firefighters and then we went out to his
2:18
home and saw just how bad the damage was
2:21
it was interesting take a look at this
2:23
Ashley what is it like Mel for you to
2:26
see all this W area uh hey
2:31
I feel I be I belong to a a large but
2:34
Elite group yeah you lost your home of
2:37
people who lost homes and and um you
2:40
know it's devastating for for all of
2:43
them too what about your a Awards and
2:46
like stuff from graveheart that kind of
2:47
stuff I yeah they mostly kind of
2:50
went the the Oscars weren't there they
2:52
weren't there nah but uh you know a lot
2:55
of stuff wow every time I see this it's
2:58
like whoa it look looks like
3:01
uh looks a lot smaller than than uh than
3:05
it seemed uh used to be you know it's a
3:08
fairly vast house but uh yeah had slate
3:12
tiles but there were some wood Parts on
3:15
the house so as you can see but it's
3:19
pretty well burnt yeah if there is
3:22
anything there it's not much use I would
3:24
say who knows I did I opened a a safe
3:28
everything in there was
3:30
is it really
3:33
yeah look at this this is
3:36
crispy this was a garage and and a guest
3:39
house apartment on top but look at this
3:43
look what happens to the insides wow man
3:45
there is it's gutted it's
3:49
crazy
3:51
yep wow look at this crazy it's crazy
3:55
it's still
3:56
hot wow
4:05
wow it's so crazy wow man right down to
4:09
the right down to the bones
4:13
huh watch out for roofing
4:16
nails okay watch your step in here cuz
4:18
it's
4:19
ugly there's a lot of nails you see it's
4:23
perfect thing to step on right oh yeah
4:25
kind of like Vietnamese booby trap you
4:27
know yeah water heaters it's just
4:31
everything's caved in you'd have to dig
4:34
stuff out I'm sure and there may be
4:36
stuff in there that's you know
4:37
salvageable I doubt it it's pretty dark
4:41
I'm sorry no that's okay you standing
4:43
here at your house like this yeah that's
4:45
okay you know what
4:48
I I'm okay with
4:51
it I'm okay you don't look back you look
4:54
forward
