Hey ladies and gentlemen, Carmine Sabia here for Explain America, and it's a bad news day
0:04
for Marjorie Taylor Greene, one of our favorite representatives. She's been voted out, and she just got the news
0:12
Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, you share, and you subscribe

Those little things really help us out, and they help our channel continue to grow
0:21
Now according to Representative Andy Harris, Greene has been voted out of the House Freedom Caucus
0:28
So the House Freedom Caucus is the far-right group inside of the Republican Party
0:34
Well, that would be considered far-right. I consider them patriots. They are considered, you know, the most Republican, the most conservative group, and that of course
0:44
by definition, would make them far-right, as opposed to the progressive group, you know
0:50
in the House, which is far-left, and that contains your squad, your Ayanna Pressley
0:57
your Ocasio-Cortez, your Rashida Tlaib. So they have that caucus, the progressive caucus, and then you have the Freedom Caucus
1:05
which is the antithesis of that caucus. Marjorie Taylor Greene was a cornerstone of the Freedom Caucus, one of the top members
1:14
and now she's gone, and you may be wondering why. Well, Rep. Harris told us actually why it happened when he spoke to CNN, you know, earlier
1:23
today, and what he said was, it's basically a buildup of things that happened with Greene
1:29
starting with her unwavering support for House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. I mean, she's on Team McCarthy, strong, and her support for him has not wavered, and she's
1:38
actually gone up against other Freedom Caucus members for him, most notably Lauren Boebert
1:45
which is where we think a lot of this stems from. See, Greene and Boebert have actually gone at it recently
1:52
They went at it first during the election for House Speaker when Greene called out Boebert
1:57
for not supporting McCarthy, but then recently, Greene also called Boebert a little B-word
2:06
That's the nicest way I can say it, because I can't curse on here, but it's a not nice
2:10
word that some people may call a woman who they get angry with, and I don't support or
2:17
approve of that type of language, but it was one woman saying it to another, and, you
2:22
know, I mean, that's a big deal. And so they basically kicked her out
2:27
They did not say when the vote occurred, but they finally made it official today with telling
2:31
the public about it. But the vote is believed to have happened like the last week of June, but we don't know that
2:39
for a fact. But the real point here is Marjorie Taylor Greene may have differences with some members
2:43
of the Freedom Caucus, and she may support Kevin McCarthy, who has come to the table
2:48
and come to bat with some really good things and some questionable things, as most speakers do
2:54
But she also is the only one, the first one to come out and introduce articles of impeachment
2:58
against Joe Biden, to go after the head of the FBI, to go after these people who have
3:03
corrupted our government. And so I think she has a strong conservative record, and I don't think that personal issues
3:09
should play a factor here. I don't know if I'm in agreement here with this decision, but I would love to know what
3:15
you guys think. Is this the right move for the Freedom Caucus? Is Marjorie Taylor Greene better off
3:21
Do you support Boebert in this situation? These are the things I want to know, so please let me know that in the comments
3:26
I really do appreciate when you guys do that, because I love to read your comments
3:31
Also, please make sure you like, share, and subscribe. Again, that really helps us out
3:36
Once again, I'm Carmine Sabia. This is Explain America. We love you guys
