Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and Republicans
0:04
just got a slam dunk massive victory. Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share and subscribe

Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow

So the state Supreme Court of Florida has decided that the six week ban on terminating
0:27
pregnancies, well that can stand. You can only terminate a pregnancy up until the sixth week
0:34
After that, can't do it anymore. They allowed that to stand and that is a massive victory for Republicans
0:41
Now Biden thinks, or the Biden camp thinks, hey this may actually help us win Florida
0:47
because the Supreme Court of Florida also decided that a ballot measure about abortion
0:52
access will appear on the November ballots with the presidential election. The Biden team thinks this is going to drive voters to the polls and vote for Biden too
1:02
Very unlikely. The experts in the video I'm about to show you also say it's very unlikely and they explain why
1:09
Florida has become very, very red. Unlikely it's going to change anytime soon
1:14
But I want you to check this out. Watch this video and you tell me if you agree with me that this is a massive victory for Republicans
1:21
Please do that when you like, comment, share and subscribe. I'm Carmine Sabia for Explain America

We love you guys. God bless you. Take care everybody. So, winnable
1:34
That is how the Biden campaign has now labeled Florida. And they're pointing to abortion as the reason behind this new confidence
1:42
Florida's state Supreme Court just paved the way for one of the most restrictive abortion
1:46
bans in the country. The justices, they upheld Florida's ban on abortion after 15 weeks and that triggers
1:52
an even more restrictive six week ban, which state lawmakers approved last year
1:57
And the whole issue is likely to go to voters in November. Let's get to CNN's Arlette Saenz at the White House for us with much more
2:04
Arlette, what is behind? Is it really just the abortion issue that is behind this new strategy and this confidence
2:11
if you will, of the Biden campaign? Well, there's a few elements to this, Kate, but the Biden campaign believes that they
2:19
do see an opening in the state of Florida, in large part due to the issue of abortion
2:26
In a campaign memo released last night by campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez, she
2:31
outlined how they believe Florida is winnable, especially when it comes to the issue of reproductive rights
2:38
They see the fact that voters will be deciding in November in Florida whether to approve
2:44
a state constitutional amendment relating to abortion rights. They believe that that is something that can really galvanize voters heading into November's election
2:54
It's something that they've long stressed across this campaign, as they believe abortion
2:59
rights, reproductive rights will really push a lot of women, independent and moderate voters
3:03
to the ballot box for Biden. We've heard the campaign talk about potential ballot initiatives on the ballots in states
3:10
like Arizona and Nevada, and they believe that this could also help them in a state
3:15
like Florida. The campaign manager argued that this decision from the Supreme Court yesterday
