Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America, and we have massive news
0:06
coming from former President Donald Trump on the prospect of him being sent to prison
0:12
Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe. Those little
0:17
things really help us out, and they help our channel continue to grow. The former president
0:23
spoke to Fox News, namely Fox and Friends, on Sunday where he talked about the very real
0:30
prospect of him being sent to prison by Judge Juan Marchand. Judge Juan Marchand, the judge
0:37
who donated to the Joe Biden campaign, the judge whose daughter works on the Joe Biden Kamala
0:43
Harris 2024 campaign in terms of fundraising. She doesn't work directly for them, but she does help
0:49
them fundraise, and she helps various, various Democrats fundraise. You guys know all this. This
0:54
is a deeply conflicted judge. Well, this judge in July, just days before the Republican National
1:02
Convention, he's going to pass sentence on Donald Trump, and it could range from a lot of things
1:07
folks. It could be picking up trash on the side of the highway. How humiliating would that be for
1:12
the former president? To house arrest, to actually spending time on Rikers Island behind bars in New
1:20
York. Well, Trump, he didn't mince words when he talked about it on Sunday, and he actually had a
1:28
very dire warning, not just for, I would say not just for the judge, but for the nation as a whole
1:35
And it's something I think Democrats should heed. He's not calling for violence. People are going
1:39
to say that, no. But he is saying you could really break the spirit of this country by sending a
1:46
former president to prison over nonsense. This is nonsense. This isn't like some big espionage
1:53
charge. This is ridiculousness. Let's take a look at what Trump said, and then please leave your
1:58
comments so I know what you think about it. Could it, the judge could decide to say, hey
2:02
house arrest or even jail. It could. I'm okay with it. I saw one of my lawyers the other day
2:08
on television saying, oh no, you don't want to do that to the president. I said, don't, you don't
2:12
beg for anything. You just, the way it is. Think of it. They have all my books. You know, they went
2:17
to, for five years, they sued me getting my tax returns, right? At the end of five years
2:23
they got them. The Supreme Court actually gave it to them. That was the end of it. That was it
2:29
They never found anything. They are the best accounting firms. I had a pure gold firm
2:35
They call it a gold rated firm. I don't know. It's supposed to be, who knows? But with all that
2:41
stuff for years, you heard about my tax. They never looked into the Clinton Foundation
2:45
And they never found it. They never went all the way with the Clinton Foundation. They never went
2:50
all the way with the Clinton Foundation, which is sort of interesting, isn't it? But, um, so
2:57
that could happen. I don't know that the public would stand it. You know, I don't, I'm not sure
3:01
the public would stand for it with a house arrest. I think, I think it would be tough for
3:07
the public to take. You know, at a certain point, there's a breaking point. People ask you, why do
3:11
you do this? How can you do this? I mean, not to mention the rally after rally, the energy
3:15
but maybe the question isn't how do you do this over and over, but how does your family do this
3:20
All the obstacles, you know, these are, these are things you care about
3:25
your ambitions for the country. What about everybody around you? So I think in many ways
3:28
it's tougher on them than it is on me. They're good people
