BREAKING: 'He Slapped Her' - Kamala Harris' Husband Named in Domestic Violence Claims

Apparently, before they were together, in 2012, Doug Emhoff, the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris

was involved according to sources in a domestic violence incident and I want to say according to sources these are sources who spoke with the British tabloid The Daily Mail And the Daily Mail says it has evidence to corroborate this story

Now, the Daily Mail is also the one that broke the story about Mr. Emhoff's affair on his first wife with the nanny

which he eventually had to cop to and say, yeah, he was guilty. We just now have this, and the sources have spoken to the Daily Mail

we have not independently confirmed it. I have not witnessed or seen any other outlets confirming it yet

but again, this is just breaking. So you've got to give them some time

That being said, I'm going to read to you from the article at the Daily Mail

It's a doozy. And it says, Kamala Harris's husband, second gentleman, Doug京ff

has been accused of assaulting a former girlfriend at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2012

Three friends of the alleged victim have come forward with their stories recounting the incident where Emhoff is alleged to have struck the woman so hard in the face she purportedly was spun around after believing she was flirting with another man

It was hard to hear her because she was sobbing. She told me she was with the guy and he hit her

It was very clear she was telling me. She said she was with the guy, her date. She was at the

Cannes Film Festival and he hit her. She was in the car with the guy at the time. I didn't know what to

do. I didn't know whether to call the French police. I couldn't get a hold of her after calling back

That's what a witness said. In later conversations, but pretty contemporaneous with that

she told me more about the guy. It was something like 3 a.m. They were trying to get out of there

and they both had been drinking. There was a gigantic line for taxis. She went up to one of the valet guys

offered him a hundred euros or whatever to get to the head of the line

She told me he put her hand on his shoulder Doug apparently thought that she was flirting and came over and slapped her in the face Guys that brutal If it true that brutal

There is never a reason to strike a woman. You don't do it. Not as a man

I don't know. Is this the definition of manhood now in America

I pray it's not true. But if it is true, I would love to hear from Mr. M. Hoff

and find out why, now that there's ever a reason. And if he's sorry and what has changed, has he had counseling since then

Has he ever struck the vice president? I tend to think he has not because I don't think vice president Harris would take that
