0:34
know there's a lot of things in this
0:37
country I think
0:39
that have gotten worse over the course
0:42
of the generations you talk about the
0:44
way people behave the way they dress the
0:47
way they act the way they've removed God
0:51
from schools in the Public Square the
0:54
way we don't respect the police anymore
0:56
or people in positions of authority kids
0:58
don't respect their teachers
1:00
TV music movies it's all gotten worse
1:04
hasn't it I mean if you study history
1:06
I'm only 47 but if you study history and
1:10
I
1:10
have I don't see the Improvement you
1:13
know they say progressive let's be
1:15
Progressive but every time I see
1:17
progress I see things progressing
1:19
worse some things got better racism
1:22
isn't as prevalent
1:24
anymore but most things get worse one of
1:28
those things that has gotten worse over
1:31
the course of time through the decades
1:33
is education in this country you know I
1:36
believe that if you took kids at five
1:39
months old and you sent them to school
1:41
at 5 months old and then in a few months
1:44
you know the the the teachers help them
1:45
to walk and they take their first steps
1:48
within a
1:50
generation people would believe that
1:52
kids would not be able to take their
1:54
first steps without the interference of
1:57
government a lot of people call them
1:59
schools I call them indoctrination camps
2:00
to make little obedient workers but the
2:02
point is it has gotten progressively
2:05
worse kids have gotten progressively
2:09
less knowledgeable I know they're less
2:11
knowledgeable now than they were in my
2:12
generation My Generation probably less
2:14
knowledgeable than the one before me and
2:16
so on and so forth especially as it
2:18
pertains to matters of the Constitution
2:20
and Civics most of the stuff I know
2:22
about that I had to teach myself because
2:25
it was something I was passionate about
2:27
but if I wasn't and I can tell you peers
2:29
my age when I try to have a conversation
2:31
engage with them on these topics they
2:32
have no idea what I'm talking about
2:35
because they didn't have the inkling for
2:37
whatever reason to study those
2:39
particular topics now they're smarter
2:41
than me on a whole bunch of other topics
2:43
you know whatever topics we decided to
2:45
to learn but there's basic stuff that
2:48
should be taught about Civics in schools
2:49
that aren't um mathematics science we're
2:52
failing other nations in so many
2:55
categories and that's why Trump is going
2:57
to abolish and demolish the Department
3:00
of Education now he's signing an
3:02
executive order today may have already
3:04
signed it by the time you watch this
3:05
video Liberals are freaking out about it
3:08
but the fact is this is a department
3:10
that was created in the 1970s by Jimmy
3:12
Carter we were able to educate our kids
3:15
and do it better before this department
3:17
existed and the only thing it really
3:19
does successfully now is make the heads
3:22
of the teachers unions wealthy that's
3:25
about the only thing it it does at this
3:27
point I say Good Riddance get rid of
3:29
this apartment it's an albatross it's
3:32
never functioned properly Kiss It
3:34
Goodbye I want you to watch this report
3:36
on it and let me know what you think in
3:38
the comments president Trump is not
3:40
failing America's children he is saving
3:43
America's children with this action that
3:45
he will take later today directing Linda
3:47
McMahon our great secretary of education
3:50
to dismantle this Federal bureaucracy
3:53
that has taken more than $3 trillion
3:56
from the American taxpayer since its
3:58
Inception and 1979 and what have we had
4:02
as a result of that investment in our
4:04
children's education declining test
4:06
scores in Reading Writing in math
4:09
proficiency levels at record lows for
4:11
eighth graders for fourth graders at
4:13
every level in every state across this
4:16
country that's why the president is
4:17
returning education back to the people
4:20
to those closest to our students in our
4:22
classrooms and that is teachers and
4:24
Educators and parents who know what is
4:26
best for their children and we are
4:28
excited about this event that will be
4:29
here later at the in the afternoon at
4:31
the White House and we will have parents
4:33
and Educators and students and also
4:35
Governors from across the country who
4:37
are excited to embrace this new
4:39
responsibility of educating our nation's
4:41
children I will add one more point the
4:43
Department of Education has never
4:45
educated a child all it has ever done is
4:48
stolen money from the taxpayers for more
4:50
regulation that has hurt our children's
4:52
education and it's about time a
4:54
president does something about it and
4:55
thank God president Trump is uh
