Donald Trump Prosecutor Jack Smith Gets Devastating News - Judge Denies His Request

Jack Smith, the special prosecutor who's taking the federal classified documents case against

Trump, well he just got some bad news from the judge in the case. Let's take a look at

Jack Smith petitioned Judge Eileen Cannon. Now you may remember Judge Eileen Cannon

She was the one who was appointed by former President Donald Trump. And she has made a

lot of pro-Trump decisions in recent times that have had liberals furious with her. You

know, they're considered pro-Trump decisions. I call them legal decisions. But whatever

the case is, she's made them and liberals are furious. What else is new? Film at 11

So Judge Eileen Cannon was asked by Jack Smith to keep the witness list of 84 potential

witnesses against Trump private. Now these are 84 potential witnesses in the case that

Trump is supposed to not be allowed to be in contact with. But he wanted to keep it

private. Now Trump's team just got the witness list. Okay, so they have it. But what happened

was NBC News, ABC News, the Associated Press, CNN, other news outlets, they want the list

of potential witnesses. Now Smith is saying, no, this would damage his case. And he doesn't

want this to be known to you people, the public, the American people. He doesn't want you to

get to know who the witnesses are against former President Donald Trump. But Eileen

Cannon, she smacked him down. She said she sees no reason that the list should be kept

secret. And I think she's right. She said, look, there's, you know, the people who, the

news organizations who were arguing for the case to be public, they said, this is historic

They said, it's hard to actually overstate how historic this is. I tend to agree with

that assessment. This is historic. And I think we do need to know, or at least we want to

know, the curiosity is there, right? Who were the 84 people that turned on Donald Trump

I think everybody wants to know that. If you're a Trump supporter, who were the 84 people

that stabbed Trump in the back? Let's, let's find out about that. Right? So I think that's

a big part of what happened here. People just want to know this. And the judge said

look, you don't have a compelling argument. She said to Smith, you don't have a compelling

argument to keep this list secret. So you need a compelling argument. You need a reason

that it's going to put something in danger. It's going to put the case in danger. It's going to put national security in danger. Something has to be compelling her to keep

this list private. Otherwise it would be public. Apparently she didn't feel that Smith's argument

was strong enough for what he believed was a compelling argument. And so therefore she

decided against him. And this is of course, another drawback for Smith, who has also asked

for an extension in the case because he said that Trump's attorneys need to get their security

clearances together. So a lot has been going against Smith lately. And this whole case

might be falling apart right before our very eyes. Folks, I want to thank you for watching
