0:38
president Donald Trump wasted no time
0:41
showing the terrorists that there's a
0:44
new sheriff in town and he's not taking
0:48
any prisoners last night the president
0:51
of the United States ordered the strike
0:53
on
0:55
Somalian hideouts for Isis terrorists
0:59
now these terrorists were eradicated and
1:02
according to president Donald Trump
1:03
there were no civilian casualties in a
1:07
message this morning he said to anybody
1:10
who wishes to do harm to Americans quote
1:13
we will find you and we will kill you
1:18
end quote that is the kind of message
1:21
you want your president to send that's
1:24
the kind of President you want to have
1:25
that you know when you go to sleep at
1:27
night he's protecting you he's
1:29
protecting protecting the home front
1:30
he's protecting the Homeland that is the
1:33
number one job of the federal government
1:35
it has become this gargantuan
1:39
monstrosity of of a thing where the
1:42
federal government just takes over and
1:45
wants to reach its tentacles its claws
1:47
into every aspect of your life and take
1:49
taxes and taxes and taxes and taxes and
1:52
give it away to all kinds of nonsense
1:55
they want to tell you what you're
1:56
allowed to do and what you're not
1:57
allowed to do and what shots you have to
1:59
take and what shots you shouldn't take
2:01
and what you should eat and what you
2:02
shouldn't eat they want to stretch their
2:04
tentacles into every facet of your life
2:07
but the only job the Constitution really
2:10
truly gives to the federal
2:13
government is to protect the citizenry
2:17
and that's in case of war in case of
2:19
attack things like that's the only job
2:21
it really has otherwise we are governed
2:24
by States and this this has been lost
2:27
this is why they pulled Civics out of
2:29
schools cuz they don't want kids to know
2:30
the truth cuz if kids knew the truth
2:33
they would say what the hell is the
2:34
federal government doing they've far
2:37
overreached president Trump he's putting
2:39
things back in line I want you to watch
2:41
this video on it and let me know what
2:43
you think in the comments now to this
2:45
breaking news president Trump just
2:47
announced precision air strikes in
2:49
Somalia marking his first military
2:51
strikes of his second term in the White
2:53
House CNN's Elena Trina is in Florida
2:55
where the president is spending the
2:56
weekend so Elena what's behind this
3:01
well that's right uh Fred we did hear
3:03
from the former or excuse me from
3:05
president Donald Trump directly just
3:07
moments ago uh stating on his true
3:10
social website that he has ordered
3:11
Precision military air strikes in
3:13
Somalia I want to read for you some of
3:15
what he posted he said quote this
3:17
morning I ordered Precision military air
3:19
strikes on the senior ISIS attack
3:21
planner and other terrorists he
3:22
recruited and led in Somalia these
3:25
killers who we found hiding in caves
3:28
threatened the United States and our
3:29
allies the strikes destroyed the caves
3:32
they lived in and killed many terrorists
3:35
without in any way harming civilians uh
3:38
now we also heard Fred from the new
3:40
secretary of defense Pete heg says he
3:42
confirmed that he has he had authorized
3:45
these military air strikes and also that
3:47
U multiple people were killed in these
3:50
strikes this is what Heth uh said in a
3:52
statement he said quote at president
3:54
Trump's Direction and in coordination
3:56
with the federal government of Somalia I
3:58
authorized us Africa command to conduct
4:01
coordinated air strikes today targeting
4:04
Isis Somalia operatives in the gois
4:06
mountains he went on to say uh quote our
4:08
initial assessment is that multiple
4:10
Opera operatives were killed in the air
4:13
strikes and no civilians were harmed
4:16
this action further degrades isis's
4:18
ability to plot and conduct terrorist
4:20
attacks um it went on to discuss that
4:23
strategy further now I do want to be
4:25
clear as well here Fred that uh the
4:28
president did also attack the Biden ad
4:30
Administration and the former president
4:32
for what he argued was not doing enough
4:34
with these similar types of strikes in
4:36
Somalia but we do know that these types
4:38
of strikes are actually pretty routine
4:41
uh particularly those targeting somalo
4:43
we know that during uh the Biden
4:45
Administration They carried out several
4:47
air strikes and Military strikes both um
4:49
on Isis but also um Al shabab terrorist
4:53
during his first term um I also wanted
4:56
to note that the US has really provided
4:58
ongoing support to the Somali government
5:01
ever since uh former President Joe Biden
5:03
had approved a pentagon request in 2022
5:06
to put more troops in the region to deal
5:09
um with the growing terrorist threat so
5:11
again this is something we know um that
5:13
was pretty routine during the Biden
5:15
Administration but of course um we are
5:17
hearing from the president directly
5:18
saying that he has authored these
5:20
authorized these strikes and that they
5:22
were successful in taking out um this
5:24
ISIS attack planner and others that they
5:26
deemed to be a threat to the region and
5:28
to the United States
5:30
so Elena is this yes Elena is this
5:32
considered a continuation of an already
5:34
established policy since you mentioned
5:37
these strikes were taking place uh
5:39
during the Biden Administration and now
5:41
this is the first of this new
5:46
Administration and you know it's hard to
5:48
say Fred because we are still learning
5:49
more information I did ask the white
5:51
house uh if they had more details
5:53
regarding the nature of this and and
5:55
what led the president uh to to do this
5:58
and then also of course we saw saw him
6:00
uh kind of celebrating the air strikes
6:02
and their success on social media I
6:04
think we're still learning more details
6:05
of the White House told me they will
6:07
provide more as they come but this is
6:08
all of the information they will be
6:10
giving us at this time um so it's hard
6:12
to say this is a continuation of the
6:14
Biden policy but it is something like I
6:16
noted that we know that the former
6:18
president uh did himself as well uh
6:20
during his term all Elena TR thank you
6:24
so much
