Hey ladies and gentlemen, Carmine Sabia here for Explain America and we have some very
0:04
sad news today and Robert De Niro basically just learned a really hard lesson about the
0:11
Republican agenda and he did it in the most tragic way possible
0:16
Before we get started, please remember to like, comment, share and subscribe. It really helps us out and we really do appreciate it

So Robert De Niro has lost his grandson in a tragic overdose death it appears according
0:29
to the child's mother, De Niro's daughter. She said on Instagram that her son died of a fentanyl overdose after taking pills that
0:40
were laced with fentanyl. We take no joy in this, nobody should, even though De Niro has been really, really mean
0:48
to President Trump and has said really mean things about us as Trump supporters, that's
0:53
his burden to bear. We should not take any pleasure, and I certainly don't, take any pleasure in the death of his grandson
1:00
Robert De Niro's grandson died, apparently overdosed on fentanyl. His mom, Drina De Niro, wrote the following on Instagram, quoting here, someone sold him
1:09
fentanyl laced pills that they knew were laced yet still sold them to him
1:13
So for all these people still effing around, selling and buying this stuff, my son is gone forever
1:20
It's a tragic story. You know, you wonder, we've been talking about this, Michelle, for two and a half years
1:25
we've been talking about the border and the fentanyl, and you have these, you know, these
1:29
factions in Hollywood not saying a word about it. Nobody covers it, and it hits home, it hits home hard, and that's why we've been talking
1:36
about this for a long time, like, you know, something has to be done. Something has to be done
1:40
Bill Mulushian's doing some great reporting down by the border. I mean, reports, we've seen them over and over again, bags filled with these pills
1:49
these candy coated pills, and people are dying. And it's, it's this, this hits at the center of Hollywood's core
2:00
And that's why we're seeing this splattered all over the place. But every day this is happening to kids across America, to families who are not celebrities
2:12
And this is, this is a tragedy that that needs to be stopped at the border
2:17
We had 111,000 overdose deaths in 2022, 75,000 of them from synthetic opioids like fentanyl
2:25
And we really need better treatment, of course, and we need Narcan available in more and more
2:31
places, schools, and mobile clinics in high-risk areas. And then, of course, trying to control the flow at the border
2:38
It has to be done. And people just have to watch out because you might be taking something, and the odds
2:43
are, it could be laced with something, you don't know is there. That's exactly right
2:46
And we, you know, we tell your kids, just don't take anything from anywhere
2:50
Even if you go to a pharmacy in Mexico, don't take it
2:55
Of course, this is terribly sad news. And it is a, it's a hard lesson
3:00
We can't say for sure where the fentanyl came from. Did it come from open borders
3:04
You know, what did it come from? There is, there is an obvious issue in this nation with fentanyl
3:09
And it's sad when any child dies from this horrible drug. We send our deepest condolences to Robert De Niro and his whole entire family
3:18
And we send our prayers for the soul of his grandson. And we just pray for peace for them and understanding and God's mercy
3:28
