0:20
click that join button become a member of this channel. Guys, Melania Trump has been through
0:27
I can't imagine what she's been through actually in this past week
0:31
Imagine watching your husband on television, getting shot. Somebody you love, somebody you care about, somebody is the father of your child
0:42
It's unfathomable what she's had to deal with and so many things
0:48
must be going on in her mind. She knows there's a campaign after this and then there's the presidency after this, God willing, and then
0:55
after that he's still going to be hated by people. Everywhere he goes is going to be hated by people
1:00
He's in a precarious situation and that puts her and her son or family in a precarious situation
1:08
And so she made a decision and the media attacked her for it. They mocked her husband for it because that's what they do
1:17
The fourth estate in my opinion is just a wing of the democrat party
1:22
Now her decision was, and this is what you know Trump got mocked for and she got mocked for
1:27
she didn't speak at the Republican National Convention. They begged her to. She decided not to and I don't blame her. A, she's got a lot on her mind
1:35
B, the last time she spoke at the Republican National Convention, the media hammered her. She doesn't need it
1:41
She doesn't need it and she doesn't want it. I want you to watch this report though and watch how the media reacts to this
1:48
as if she doesn't love her husband. I want you to watch this report and then in the comments
1:53
let me know what you would say to the media who's saying these things about the Trump family
1:57
As we're talking about Melania Trump and being there, what her role is, let's go back to Kaitlyn Collins who has
2:02
new details on why Melania Trump doesn't have a speaking role tonight. What are you learning Kaitlyn
2:07
Well, it's all by design Erin and really as we know and witnessed as Melania Trump when she was the first lady of the
2:13
United States and Donald Trump was in office, she does things on her own accord and often cannot be pressured or convinced into doing something if she does not want to do it
2:22
CNN's Kate Bennett reported about her independence and what that style looks like and that is playing out
2:28
and why you won't see her on this stage tonight like you did in 2016 and 2020
2:33
I'm told by two sources that multiple people appealed personally to the former first lady to speak at this convention as we've seen happen in the modern political era
2:43
but she declined to do so. She did not want to have a speaking role at this convention
2:49
Now that's notable because typically we've seen as we did last night with Senator Vance's wife
2:54
political spouses come out to try to reveal a softer side of their spouse
2:58
They're not often talking about policy, but we will not be seeing Melania Trump in a speaking capacity tonight
3:05
even though she was asked multiple times to do so. You
