Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America, and the impeachment
0:04
hammer has finally been dropped on one President Joseph R. Biden. Before we get started, folks, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe

Those little things really help us out, and they help our channel continue to grow
0:19
So you may not have noticed it with all the other news going on this week, but Lauren
0:23
Boebert, the Firebrand Colorado Republican representative, took a privileged resolution into the House to impeach Joe Biden
0:32
So I'll explain real quick. What a privileged resolution means is that everybody in the House has to vote on it
0:38
They have to decide if they're going to impeach Joe Biden. Now if you're a Republican and you vote against this, you're going to have to go to your constituents
0:45
and explain why you voted against impeaching Joe Biden. Not good business, not good politics, not going to help you get re-elected
0:54
Okay, she did that. Then Kevin McCarthy stepped in. He's like, I don't like this
1:01
This is too soon. He cut a deal with Boebert, and he said, listen, let's take it to a vote to send it to the
1:07
committees like the Homeland Security Committee, have them do their investigation, gather all
1:13
the evidence, then bring it to the House floor for a vote. And I think I know why he did this
1:18
At least I have a theory, and we're going to get to that at the end of the video. And if I'm right, then it's actually genius
1:25
So Boebert says, okay, I'll do it, but I got something in my back pocket, which I'll also
1:31
tell you in a second. So they bring it up for a vote and they do vote to pass it on to the committees
1:37
So the first step in the impeachment process of Joe Biden has begun
1:41
That's the fantastic news. Now there's more fantastic news. Lauren Boebert says to McCarthy, listen, if you guys slow walk this, if you slow roll
1:50
it, I'm going to bring this privilege resolution back and I'm going to force you to vote on it
1:55
Now McCarthy had instructed his conference to vote against it when it came up, when Lauren
2:00
Boebert introduced it, and it would have come before the House. That is a big deal a lot of people are not talking about
2:07
And the reason I think he did it is this. It's like when you have a district attorney and a detective
2:14
The detective has to gather all the evidence, make an airtight case, bring it to the district attorney
2:20
The district attorney cleans it up, make sure the evidence is streamlined, again, makes
2:24
it airtight, goes to the grand jury. In this case, the detective is the House committees that are investigating Joe Biden
2:32
The grand jury is the House. They're going to bring the information and the evidence before
2:38
And then the indictment is the actual impeachment. That's how I think this is going to work
2:44
And furthermore, I think that the reason Kevin McCarthy did this is to bring it closer to
2:50
the presidential election. Donald Trump is going to be facing indictments and trials and fighting for his life to stay
2:57
out of prison. While that's happening, you bring over the impeachment. Now the American people are going to see the evidence against Joe Biden because the media
3:06
has to cover it. They can't ignore an impeachment. They're going to see those hearings
3:11
They're going to hear the evidence that's against Joe Biden. They're going to hear what he's done at the southern border
3:16
They're going to hear all the other things they have on him. And they're going to hear it closer to when it's time to vote
3:22
That could do tremendous damage to Biden politically and could deliver us the White
3:26
House in 2024. If that's the approach that Kevin McCarthy has taken, and I believe that it is, I believe that
3:33
I don't know it for a fact, but I have to think if I thought of that, Kevin McCarthy
3:36
is a lot smarter than me when it comes to politics. I have to believe that. He's the Speaker of the House
3:41
If I thought of it, he had to think of it, right? So I think that's what the deal is here
3:47
I want to know what you guys believe though, so let me know in the comments. Again, I'm Carmine Sabia
