Ron DeSantis has really shaken up the Democrat party and it really shows and things are just
0:07
getting better for the popular Florida governor. Folks, welcome to Explain America. I'm your host
0:12
Carmine Sabia. Before we get started with that story, please remember to like, comment
0:18
share and subscribe. It really helps a small channel like ours out. You know, the mainstream
0:22
media does everything it can to crush us. Social media does everything it can to crush the
0:27
conservative voice. There's only one thing stopping them and that's you, the people. So
0:32
by liking, commenting, sharing and subscribing, you're doing your part in the fight against this
0:38
censorship. You know, folks, Ron DeSantis recently was at a fundraising event where he brought up his
0:45
flight of migrants to Martha's Vineyard, which was a political masterstroke by any stretch of
0:51
the imagination. No matter what side of the aisle you fall on on this, for Ron DeSantis and the
0:56
Republicans, this was a genius move. And DeSantis is showing that he is waiting in the wings to take
1:02
over leadership of the Republican Party whenever former President Donald Trump decides that he no
1:07
longer wants to be the leader. And so I think, you know, DeSantis is showing that he has the guts
1:14
the stamina, and he has that moxie that Trump has to really lead the Republican Party in the future
1:22
But for right now, folks, he got a standing ovation that night because people are tired
1:28
They're tired of the double standards of the Democrat Party. They're tired of, hey, you know
1:34
you got to treat the migrants fairly and let them come in, but don't send them to us
1:39
And nowhere is that showing more than in his own home state of Florida
1:43
He just got some really great news when it comes to new voter registrations between 2018
1:50
and July 2022 that will knock your socks off. The numbers show that in that time
1:58
there was a 1 million percent jump in voter registration in the Sunshine State. And that's
2:04
good news. We want to get voters involved. If you want to hear your issues, you know, heard and you
2:09
want to have them addressed, you got to vote. So that was big news for the state of Florida
2:14
But what's bigger news for Ron DeSantis is this. As expected, the largest number of several hundred
2:20
thousand was in unaffiliated voters. People tend to not want to put down on paper what their voter
2:27
registration is for whatever reason, whatever party they support. It's hard for them to say
2:32
because they don't want to be ostracized or what have you. But over 180,000 of that million people
2:40
approximately 10 percent, they decided to register as Republicans in the state of Florida
2:47
Now, that's huge. That is huge news in and of itself. But what makes it even bigger news
2:54
is that of those million voters, slightly less than 18,000 of them registered as Democrats
3:03
I mean, think about that. One hundred eighty thousand new Republicans, 18,000 new Democrats. That is monumental. It shows the way Florida is moving. And that's a very big
3:15
state. And it might even show the way the country's moving outside of your liberal bastion
3:19
states. I think people have made a decision about what they want the future of this country to look
3:24
like. And it's not record high inflation. It's not high gas prices. It's not ridiculous prices
3:31
at the grocery store. It's not teaching our children things they shouldn't learn at a young
3:38
age. It's it's a prosperous future. It's a future where you can afford to go to the grocery store
3:45
where you don't have to choose between gas and feeding your family, where you don't have to
3:49
choose between sending your kid to school or having them indoctrinated with stuff you don't believe in
3:55
That's the future I think the American people want. And I think the voter registrations in
3:58
Florida, for one, show that. So, Ron DeSantis, hats off to you. You're doing a great job
4:04
And the entire country needs to follow your lead. Folks, I want to thank you so much for joining us
4:09
here today to explain America. We love each and every one of you. Please remember to like
4:14
comment, share, and subscribe. As I said, it really helps us out. God bless you. Take care, everybody
