0:31
out kamla Harris has given a speech
0:35
coming off the heels of an epic defeat
0:37
at the hands of president-elect Donald
0:39
Trump and she finally kind of talked
0:43
about what her feelings what her
0:45
emotions are in the defeat and and and
0:48
the speech it came off
0:51
sounding not one of resignation but kind
0:56
of even though she was telling people
0:58
not to be resigned to it and it also
1:00
came off as like a half-hearted campaign
1:02
speech from a woman who's not running
1:04
for anything right now now we've talked
1:06
at length about this in the past
1:08
week and it seems Miss Harris the vice
1:12
president has two choices and that is
1:14
one campaign for governor of
1:17
California or two try her hand at the
1:20
presidency again this would be time
1:22
number three I don't see that happening
1:25
I don't I don't think she wants that
1:26
kind of humiliation I think California
1:28
is most likely but
1:30
the thing I said that strikes me about
1:32
this this video I'm about to show you is
1:35
it sounds like she's gearing a campaign
1:37
for something here this to me is
1:40
absolutely a campaign speech so either
1:42
she doesn't realize the campaign's over
1:44
and she got her clock cleaned got housed
1:47
either she doesn't realize that or gosh
1:51
I don't know what I I don't know what
1:53
the or could be in this it is pretty bad
1:57
and it was to me anyway it was pretty
1:59
bad
2:00
and you know she's telling people not to
2:02
give up I don't know maybe it's time you
2:04
give up it's it's over you're lost still
2:07
I see her winning in a landslide for
2:09
California Governor you know they're not
2:10
going to pick a republican at least I
2:12
doubt it not since Arnold Schwarzenegger
2:14
have they picked one and he was kind of
2:16
a lukewarm Republican at that I do want
2:19
you to take a look at this video though
2:21
and let me know what you think in the
2:23
comments the story of America's progress
2:27
when we have made progress
2:30
in many ways is the story of
2:34
people who stayed true to their
2:38
ideals even in the face of
2:42
difficulty the story of
2:45
Americans who yes faced
2:49
disappointment but did not grow
2:53
weary did not grow
2:55
weary who faced
2:58
setbacks but did not not give
3:01
up people who
3:04
refused to let the
3:07
light of America's
3:10
promise dim or burn
3:13
out in moments of
3:16
challenge the movements for civil rights
3:20
women's rights workers
3:22
rights the United States of America
3:27
itself would never have come to to be if
3:31
people had given up their
3:34
cause after a court case or a battle or
3:39
an election did not go their
3:43
way what Sasha wrote and what we here
3:49
know is that in moments like
3:52
this the true test of our
3:56
character is how resilient
4:00
and
4:01
persistent we
4:03
are to pursue the future that we all can
4:10
see the true test of our
4:14
commitment is whether in the face of an
4:18
obstacle do we throw up our
4:22
hands or do we roll up our
4:27
sleeves and as we approach
4:37
and as we then approach the end of this
4:41
year many people have come up to me
4:43
telling me they feel
4:46
tired maybe even
4:49
resigned folks who have said to me that
4:52
they're not
4:53
sure whether they have the
4:55
strength much less the
4:58
desire toay in the
5:01
fight but let me be very
5:04
clear no one can walk
5:07
away no one can walk
5:11
away we must stay in the fight every one
5:16
of us
