America before we get started please

0:30
helps us out first of all I want to
0:34
start by saying the way PBS reporters
0:37
supposedly unbiased journalists who we
0:40
fund with tax dollars responded to
0:43
Alexandria acasio Cortez being defeated
0:46
by Jerry Connelly for a ranking member
0:50
spot on a very important Commission in
0:52
the
0:53
house was ridiculous they acted like
0:57
they were her campaign chairs like they
1:00
were on the acasio Cortez campaign it's
1:03
not how a journalist is supposed to
1:07
act but we've seen so much of that
1:09
lately it should come as no shock and
1:11
I'm going to show you that video but I
1:13
want to talk about a man in his 7s
1:17
defeating a woman in her
1:18
30s and tell you what's wrong with the
1:21
Democrat Party yeah we elected a man in
1:22
his 70s going to be in his 80s for
1:24
president but he's got young thoughts
1:25
he's got young ideas and he surrounds
1:28
himself with younger thinkers younger
1:30
people you got Vivic ramaswami Tulsi
1:32
gabard Elon Musk he's not stuck in the
1:35
old way of doing things Democrats just
1:37
got their tail kicked and they're
1:39
sticking with the old guard and here's
1:42
what's worse about that is acasio Cortez
1:44
disagree with her or not she's at least
1:47
got new fresh
1:49
ideas that's not coming from the
1:51
Democrats anymore they are not the party
1:53
of new and fresh ideas that's a problem
1:55
for America believe it or not our ideas
1:58
are horrible but at least they're new
2:01
and fresh and and new things we can
2:03
debate what what's Connelly got what's
2:06
he got it's absolutely ridiculous that
2:09
we're even talking about
2:10
this I want you guys to watch this video
2:13
and let me know what you think in the
2:14
comments I want to ask you about some
2:16
internal Democratic uh Party politics
2:18
namely that a New York congresswoman
2:21
Alexandria Ocasio Cortez today lost her
2:24
bid to become the top Democrat on the
2:25
house oversight committee and this is uh
2:28
at a time when Democrats there's an
2:30
appetite for some fresh faces especially
2:32
in Congress leading some of these
2:33
committees bring us up to speed that was
2:35
a big part of her pitch she is now going
2:37
to be in for a fourth-term congresswoman
2:39
she's not new to the hill anymore a
2:41
Casio Cortez has talked about that race
2:43
first of all uh she pitched that new
2:45
generation she said I'm one of the top
2:46
fundraisers seniority is not should not
2:49
just be the way that people gain
2:51
traction here it should be the people
2:53
who are the strongest and able to voice
2:54
things for the working class but she
2:56
lost to Jerry Connelly a Virginia
2:57
Congressman um who among other things uh
3:00
has important uh ties to Washington DC
3:03
which is part of the oversight
3:04
committee's job
