Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and Fannie Willis may have
0:05
gotten good news that she could stay on Trump's case, but then the bad news started falling like
0:10
an avalanche. Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share and subscribe

Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow
0:21
So Fannie Willis, you know, she gets to stay on the case. Her lover Nathan Wade, he's off the case
0:27
and in any case she's in big trouble now because there was another whistleblower that said Fannie
0:34
Willis knew about the misappropriation of federal funds in her office by somebody that worked for
0:40
her and that she okayed it. Now this is just an allegation, but she's stonewalling Congress right
0:45
now. Jim Jordan has asked for information pertaining to this case and she's not given it
0:51
Now Jordan says he's willing to subpoena her and things could get really interesting because he
0:57
said if she doesn't comply with the subpoena, he will hold her in contempt of Congress and then
1:02
she could be the one going to jail. I want you to watch this quick video and then let me know what
1:07
you think about this whole thing in the comments. As always, please remember to like, comment

share and subscribe. I'm Carmine Sabia for Explain America. We love you guys. God bless you

Take care, everybody. The saga in Georgia continues with the Republican chair of the
1:24
House Judiciary Committee now threatening to hold Fannie Willis in contempt of Congress
1:30
Willis has refused to comply with the committee subpoena for documents that Congressman Jim
1:35
Jordan claims are related to the use of the DA's use of federal funds. And News Nation's Joe Khalil
1:41
live on Capitol Hill. And Joe, what more do we know about this new threat from Congressman Jordan
1:49
Well, he says he's serious about it and just want to point out this is all in addition to
1:55
everything that's happening in Georgia. You've now got House Republicans here in Washington
2:00
saying that they are prepared to hold Fannie Willis in contempt of Congress if she doesn't
2:06
hand over documents that House Republicans have requested. And this comes from House Judiciary
2:12
Chairman Jim Jordan, a Republican who just a couple of weeks ago issued a subpoena to Fannie
2:18
Willis's office. And this all stems from a former employee that worked in the DA's office in Fulton
2:24
County. This former employee says that there were federal grants, money that came from Washington
2:30
into the office that were meant to be used specifically for a youth crime prevention
2:36
program. And they allege that that money instead was spent on things like laptops
2:42
swagger for the office, merchandise. These are all things that Fannie Willis has already said
2:48
are not true. She is vehemently denied these accusations, but she is complying with the
2:54
subpoena so far handing over some documents. Jim Jordan has said it's not enough and it's not good
3:00
enough. He says that what she's handed over so far is not what they have been looking for. There
3:06
are documents he says specifically that relate to those federal funds that Fannie's office has not
3:13
handed over. He says that there is communication emails between the Department of Justice and
3:19
the Fulton County DA's office that they have failed to hand over as well. So that is what
3:24
they're after right now. And I want to read just part of the letter here that Jordan said. This
3:29
is really I think what sums it up. He says here that the committee expects you will produce the
3:34
responsive documents to the subpoena in the categories prioritized by the committee no later
3:40
than noon on March 28th of this year. So about two weeks from now. Now again, we did mention that we
3:48
reached out to the DA's office down in Fulton County. We've not heard from them today, but back
3:54
originally when the subpoena went out a couple weeks ago, Nicole, they did send us a statement
3:59
essentially denying that these allegations are true, saying this was one former employee who
4:03
was disgruntled and that there's no merit to the allegations at all. So this is on top of
4:09
what Fannie Willis is already dealing with today. Yeah, the saga certainly continues. Joe Khalil
