Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America, and fireworks are
0:05
set to go off in less than, well, maybe less than 24 hours at this point
0:11
When Trump makes his biggest move yet, in all the cases against him, this is the one
0:17
I think people are looking most at. Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe
0:24
Those little things really help us out, and they help our channel continue to grow
0:29
So former President Donald Trump is going to do the thing that we've all been waiting
0:34
for him to do. He's going to do the thing that the world has been waiting for him to do
0:40
On Monday, on Monday, former President Trump will take the stand in his New York fraud trial
0:49
He will testify personally. This is monumental. You know if you've watched any Trump rally, any Trump speech, you never know what he's
0:59
going to say. And, well, this is going to be, I mean, listen, even, even Letitia James, the prosecutor in
1:08
this case, the Attorney General, even she's predicting fireworks. Let's take a look
1:14
We just concluded day 22 of our trial against Donald Trump, the Trump Organization, and
1:19
other defendants. Today we heard testimony from Donald Trump's sons and co-defendants, Donald Trump Jr. and
1:26
Eric Trump. As a trustee of the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust, Donald Trump Jr. often made financial
1:33
and business decisions on behalf of his father. He testified that he signed multiple documents confirming the accuracy of Donald Trump's
1:40
statements of financial condition and the Trump Organization's compliance with loan terms
1:46
But those documents were not accurate, and he knew it. In fact, just a week after he was confronted with the truth that his father's triplex was
1:53
three times smaller than the statement of financial conditions said it was, Donald Trump
1:58
Jr. continued to lie. He certified to the family's accountants that all the information he sent them was accurate
2:05
including the value of the falsely enlarged triplex. Next, Eric Trump took the stand and insisted that he had never heard about his father's
2:14
statements of financial condition before our investigation. He told us his job was just to pour concrete
2:21
But his emails tell a different story. On multiple occasions over the years, Eric Trump worked on his father's statements of
2:28
financial condition, and he was intimately involved in lying about the values of properties
2:34
like Seven Springs and Briarcliff to make his father appear richer than he actually was
2:39
Next week, Donald Trump himself will take the stand. And while I am sure he will try to hide his wrongdoing behind taunts, threats, name calling
2:50
we will not be bullied out of uncovering the truth. Now, of course, she cast aspersions on the president, and I'm not really a big fan of
2:59
that, but here she is, right? You know, it's interesting to me that she gets to say whatever she wants day after day
3:05
attack Trump, attack his family, attack their business, make her case not only in court
3:11
but in the court of public opinion. And yet Trump has a gag order in this case
3:17
It's like being in a fight, and your opponent can punch you as much as they want, and you're handcuffed
3:24
Your hands are handcuffed behind your back. How is this fair in the United States of America that she can do this
3:32
She can talk about Eric Trump. She can call Trump a bully and a liar
3:37
She can do everything she wants to do. But if Trump hits back, oh, there's a fine
3:41
There's another fine. Why? Why is it okay for one party and not the other
3:47
Can somebody explain that? Do you guys know? Is there any attorneys out there
3:50
Let me know in the comments. I want to know why this is allowed
3:54
Also, folks, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe. It really helps us out
4:01
I am all set for Trump to testify, and I want him to tear the doors off of all these people
4:08
But again, like I said, let me know what you think. Again, I'm Carmine Sabia
4:13
This is Explain America. We love you guys. God bless you. Take care, everybody
